@bross98 ok so this is a super unpopular opinion, but I feel like the lacescape is underrated. Something about the print makes my butt look extra good 😂 however, I will warn that my lacescape pair seems to pill more easily than my other aligns (which actually don’t really pill at all - on me, anyway).

@taaavn me too! They only really pill if I wear a define or scuba with them that rubs. But I just bought a depiller from amazon for $12 and it takes care of it so easily. I never get why ppl freak out about it when you can fix it at home

It’s funny, for THEEEE longest time I thought aligns were overrated (I’d never had a pair!).. I bought my first pair a month ago and I’m absolutely addicted!! So far I only have 5 pairs... and I keep scouring for more. My husband does not understand. I have a few greens and blues and he supposedly can’t see the difference (I just think he doesn’t want me buying more, ha!).

You know, there are a lot of theories about the numbers around the size dot, but the general consensus is that they refer to the batch in which the pant was made (and therefore you might run across a certain color/size having similar or the same numbers). It’s not a surefire way to guarantee that you got a pant of a particular color, though!

@audracook1115 hi! I would say the original aligns in gator green, bordeaux, etc are super hard to find. I have seen originals with the multicolored band between the double V seam quite often on here, but the solid colored double V aligns seem way rarer. Slate, fatigue green are also super rare.

I have a question- my dad bought me the moss rose align on June 30- yesterday I went to pop the tags and did. We drove to look At a house we may buy and came home. I took them off folded them. We get up this morning to go to breakfast and I go to put them on again, they have like 5 pulls or snaggy looking spots on them. I didn’t even check them over before putting them on. @audracook1115 you’ve actually asked the right person about this 😂 same thing happened to me and my sage pair. The short answer is, yes you can definitely get them replaced (no returns for sure though). But it very much depends on which store you go to. The first store I went to, the sales associate basically bitched me out for 10 minutes saying how it was against store policy - EVEN THOUGH I clearly stated that the flaw came with the legging and it wasn’t my fault.

@audracook1115 the one thing they cannot do is issue you a gift card or give you a refund, even if you have a receipt. They’re really strict about both the 30 day return policy and returns with receipts. But they are required by company policy to adhere to their quality guarantee promise.

@tarapika ya know...it’s hard cuz I always seem to justify keeping even the close colors lol. It is reddish brown...honestly couldn’t say it’s a true brown, the red undertones are very strong. But i feel like it stands out quite a bit actually from black cherry and black currant (makes them look super purply)

I laid them all out for my husband just now and he described it as “dark auburn” and said it was different from black cherry (he couldn’t tell dark adobe from black cherry) So there’s the untrained eye opinion 😂😂

At a glance it seems similar to smoked mulberry, but on me, I love it 1000x more 🤗 I like that it’s more mauve, less purple, and a softer color overall. Ooh! I’ve been hemming and hawing over moonphase - gonna hold out for just a little longer to see if it’ll release in 25”!

Idk what changed about the fabric, but I dig it even more. 👍🏼 I felt like some of the aligns I purchased earlier this year felt a bit...flimsy? Or just thinner than I had hoped for 😥

@amynicharles yes!!! My smoked mulberry, slate blue and brilliant blue all have this problem. After one wash they lost their “coat” and are now very suede-y feeling 🧐 none of my aligns have ever pilled on me (like balled up fabric pieces) but the fabric texture has definitely changed on some of them. Is that what you mean?

@taaavn yes it’s like actual real pilling on the smoked mulberry...like little fabric fuzziness and balls ...Like even on top of the thighs where there wouldn’t be chafing normally. It’s so weird! I must have done something different in them though just can’t think what. I shaved it off so it was not a deal breaker but the fabric just looks less quality than the others

I appreciate this tread so much! I’ve had the Smoked Mulberry for 3 months now and for some reason I just couldn’t bring myself to wearing it....then come to find out that particular color has some pilling issues! I went to the store ASAP and exchanged it for the Black Satin (it was a toss up between that and Antique Bark). Thank you ladies!!

I was frantically refreshing my app yesterday hoping they’d add more 2’s with the upload but it didn’t happen. 🙄 I refuse to believe the initial haul of sizes is all they put out, unless they don’t want to make money. If you have time you could call Guest Education Services, to see if they could possibly locate a pair for you or tell you when/if they restock? It’s a thought and possibility. 🤔 Also if you’re on the boards make an ISO.

I just put out an ISO post on BST 😬 yes, I also saw that a pair sold hella quick above retail on M this morning, but as you mentioned it’s way too early in the game to be paying that much of a markup. I did call Guest Education Services yesterday! The girl told me she had no idea when/if a restock would happen or when/if savannah would hit stores. Soooo still completely in the dark there. 😒

@taaavn Oh man I had those amaze pants (1st release), resold because I was too afraid to wear them being nearly white, regret. Not sure if the material has changed on those or not. The old High Times luon is my FAVORITE, all soft and stretchy. Sort of hate the newer full on luon because to me it feels kinda coarse and scratchy, and super freaking tight. But my skin is extra sensitive and basically hate everything but aligns. Soooo, it’s trial and error. Can’t wait to hear what you think. 🤗

@taaavn yayayay that is SUPER soon. Really hoping you love them as much as I do. My fav colors lately have been these “faded” ones, like Satin and Savannah. Reminds me of how Merlot is. It pains me Lulu doesn’t have more dependable shipping considering the price of the brand. Not sure why they go with Fedex over USPS priority. If sellers on M ship Fedex over first class, it takes a minimum of 7 days. Unacceptable! 🙅🏼♀️

I just followed her now to see the pics you were referring to. @tarapika you didn’t like the luminesce?! I was def underwhelmed when I got them (thought they’d be...shinier? 🤔) yet I find it impossible to part with them. The black emboss I felt the same way - was super excited then underwhelmed because the print isn’t metallic at all, but a dull charcoal color. Still, I keep because I don’t own any black aligns. 😂 my Area ice gray is somehow unbelievably soft, so even though they’re not the easiest to match/wear I need to keep!

@tarapika I never felt any inclination to get the camo for some reason. Never appealed to me! I’m happy to share more photos of my prints with you 😘 I find that the Area ice gray and nebula are suuuuper soft, my luminesce is kinda soft, and the rest are just so-so in terms of softness (less soft than normal solid aligns).

@taaavn I’m psychotically picky and shy away from contrast seams (where the seams are darker than the pants). Very unflattering on my shapeless body type. ANYWAY. That lines up with what I’ve heard. More interested in emboss, but basically want to spend close to nothing on a pair in case I hate them and I’m aware that’s unreasonable. ☺️ We could be forced to buy many aligns soon (AUS got Carbon) so should probs save the $$. @matson34 really?! I THINK I have a nocturnal teal but not sure. They don’t look teal at all (to me) but rather just a pretty navy blue. I share a lot of your top 10 favorites, but I think my all time favorite (for the moment 😂) is smoked mulberry!! I just got darkest fuchsia in the mail yesterday, they’re pretty gorgeous too! Have u seen it??

I’m a bit late to this conversation 😅 it’s also super hard for me to pick favorites, but I think savannah is actually at the top of my list at the moment - the most flattering color I own 😍 I also love dark adobe, fatigue green, slate blue, dark forest...! My list also stretches on. It’s like picking a favorite child. 😂

@valllag I usually use an app called Layout to stitch together photos, but to be really precise I actually transfer the stitched images over to my computer to name/label things there!

I do really enjoy brilliant blue - it’s a pretty light color, very pastel and fresh. It’s probably tied with slate blue as one of my favorite blues. 😍

Hey! I just talked to you about the aligns I thought were petrol blue but are actually pacific teal. I have a few more colors that I thought I knew the name of but they don’t match with the colors I thought they were with your color codes. I’d I add pictures of the codes could you help me out? 💓

@schwallier of course! Happy to help. It can sometimes be confusing because for some colors lulu releases multiple batches, so there may be multiple codes corresponding to the same color. Likewise different colors can share batch codes... 😣 they don’t make it easy for us!

No worries at all, always happy to help. 💕 I personally do enjoy my luminesce splatter - the older release were quite soft, although I felt they ran a touch smaller than usual non-printed aligns. They’re probably my favorite printed aligns I own (I’m not super into prints myself!). They don’t look nearly as “shiny” in person as compared to the stock photos.

@rbaluyot One thing is that the print is backed in white, so it’s not the most flattering when the legging is stretched out. I’m so curious to know how the new release compares to the original release! 🤔

@rbaluyot yes, absolute worst case you can definitely just return them! I think they’re worth checking out to be honest, they can easily substitute black leggings in most cases and get you compliments 😉 gratefully no, they’re not see through at all despite being backed in white, so don’t worry about that! If you get them I’d love to know what you thought! ❤️ the WAFS prints are truly special, aren’t they?!

@joielriveraa it’s very pretty in real life! Looks like a muted brown online but it’s actually a very purple brown. I would say it’s closest to pelt, if you have that color. But like a shade lighter! I love that color on me (even though it’s not one of my favorite Align colors... if that makes sense 😂)

Hi, you seem to know a bit about slings.. question for you. I have a few pairs, BUT my favorite pair is the Dark Landscape, and it’s because it’s a silky or similar to luxtreme feel as compared to the buttery feel of my other pairs. What is the difference here? What’s the key word I should be searching for to find the silky/shiny pair? Thanks for your help!

@ckostechka hi, that’s a great question! I think the texture of align pants can vary a lot from batch to batch. For example the slicker feeling nulu was pretty specific to earlier releases of printed aligns! I don’t recall recent aligns feeling anything like my lacescape pair though.

@s2evie yep they’re the same code but very different color! :) the “code” that the pants have actually represent the length of the leggings. After that you just have to find a matching color with the code! I’ve seen this a lot!! :)

@s2evie I’ve seen codes all over the place. Lolol :) but yes, the sequence that starts with the W when you put into lulufanatics tells you the length and a list of what the colors code be. Sometimes entire code in the circle matches another color but it won’t be the same color in general. It’s a relatively confusing way they did it but it’s never been matching with two similar colors at least in my experience. :) I think they changed it to the new codes now on the newer aligns because of this :)

@s2evie for sure! But this means you don’t have night tide so if you like it, you should get it from that listing that we saw! I know she’s now saying it’s Nocturnal Teal but it’s not... lol. NT is much darker and has more of a forest green color mixed with blue... the one she has is bright like Night Tide. :)
