Beautiful thick hand tooled leather the sides are made of a thinner leather tear on one of the sides doesn't go thru into bag bag has a thick lining interior looks great large handbag was my grandmother guessing it's from 1960 length is 12 inches height is10 inches this bag is in great shape for its age this bag was made special for my grandmother by a friend that worked at the Chippewa shoes factory

juliemartin1 The tear does not go into the purse no holes all the way through nothing in purse will fall out I believe this can be repaired their is a thick lining inside of purse to protect your items this purse has beautiful workmanship

juliemartin1 yes tear is on side of purse please see photos the leather on both sides of purse is thinner leather it has dried out and torn this will not cause anything to fall out purse has a lining The tear does not go thru lining Any other questions please ask
