mrsperkins @1cass06 Hi Jen! I’ve been okay. Rough since Friday. We’ve always spaced my son’s vaccines out and this last time we did a 3 cluster for the first time and it’s been HORRIBLE. He only sleeps about 20 minutes at a time and screams and cries all day/night. He’s living on Tylenol and Morton around the clock and we’re struggling 😞

mrsperkins @1cass06 Thank you for saying that. Seriously, thank you so much 🙏🏼♥️ It was a lot of work and difficult with a baby trying to get the arts and crafts done for his decorations. Sure wasn’t a breeze.😩😂 But, I loved how it all turned out and it felt extremely special. So again, thank you 😘♥️♥️

1cass06 @mrsperkins Sadly yes, he was diagnosed at his 9 year checkup with T1D (type 1 diabetes). Turned our world completely upside down. He has to have daily insulin shots with every meal. I check him throughout the night to make sure his blood sugar hasn’t dropped.😔 He is 11 now and managing VERY well. Some things in life just happen that you have no control over and it’s overwhelming and heart wrenching. As moms, we never give up hope and we never ever stop fighting.

mrsperkins @1cass06 oh my gosh, that’s a terrible thing to hear. My dad is an insulin dependent diabetic as well, diagnosed at 26 I believe which is pretty rare at that age. He just turned 50 and is doing great!! Living a very full filling life, opening his second restaurant hopefully at the end of October if it’s finished on time and a healthy, happy man.
