julieazcano @danglina Hi there! I’ve been doing some reading, & I can’t believe how much there is to learn about different types of lab created diamonds! I’m a little curious though, in your postings, u say that these won’t pass the hardness test, but from everything I’ve gathered from my reading, it says that true lab created diamonds should pass all diamond tests?

danglina @julieazcano I have been studying gemology for 4 years....we work with a very high end private jeweler.... it really a lot to type out to explain things to you.....simpler terms depends on the equipment...most lab created diamond will pass the diamond tests....but the harness and heat is....

danglina not going to be as high as a real diamond.... a diamond will always hit 10 on the scratch/hardness....lab created will hit a 8.9-10 just depends on how well it was made.... that is still passing but not as hard

danglina @julieazcano these particular stones hit approx 8.9-9.2 when tested.......heat test they fall 1.25780026 under heated.... a in home test example a real genuine diamond if you dig it with your breathe the fog will disperse almost instantaneously....these lab created it will instantaneously disperse on the outside leaving a little fog that is more slowly dispersing a few seconds.......

danglina @julieazcano the grade is equivalent to color D clarity VVS 1...... meaning it is flawless and clear there are no inclusions in these stones at all..... they are lab created..... the time of lab grown cut in half.......... Lab created much better than white sapphires..... a step up from cubic zirconia( a actual stone all itself).... these are made with the same chemical compound a genuine diamond would have but the compounds are not as impacted as a genuine diamonds....

Lab grown yes.... moissanites....yes.... but you’ll pay top dollar for them also..... no matter the lab that created them.....they will not pass all tests fully.... Light/refraction Water/density Heat Scratch/hardness Cut/faucets Under Loup test genuine diamonds will not ever be completely flawless...... all lab created/lab grown diamond will be....

danglina @julieazcano I think finding a trustworthy jeweler in your local area or surrounding areas( not some big time brand name they are scam artists...or some little town jeweler... a place that cuts and sets their own diamonds..... and actually had reputable references)...would be best for you to go sit

danglina @julieazcano down and actually learn.... the internet is mostly opinions by others...and can most certainly be intimidating and can lead you to false knowledge.... diamonds are very precious stones and before you make a purchase especially if your expecting real diamonds.... or exact replicas you should have common knowledge about genuine diamonds

danglina lab environmental place that has tried to imitate a real diamond... and how it forms in the earths mantle... they have the same cut and faucets as a real diamond.... they are not lab grown for years.... they will not entirely pass the diamonds heat...and hardness test....that is what these diamond studs are....
