This unusual vintage ring was handmade by an unknown artist. Ring size 4. It has a real Operculum sea shell cabochon in the center. The natural coloring of the shell looks like an eye! The ring has a double shank and a rope border. It shows lots of surface wear and patina. From a smoke free home:)

😽😽Gorgeous, Operculcum ring! Don’t see them a lot! I have a Victorian necklace of tortoise shell “plaques” with an Operculcum on each panel & 14k chain. I know it’s worth a lot, but have a dear friend in UK who loves them! So sending to her. And I have a big bag of the shells. But! They are illegal to send overseas, so I pray it makes it through customs as “beads” hahaha!!!!
