ckcloset1 @gossipgirl212 You're welcome. Last night he was running fever. He's had a bad headache since yesterday and has been in the bed. I believe he has a doctor's appointment this with with the neurosurgeon but his general physician has already released him to go back to work on Aug. 30th. He also doesn't want to proceed with workers comp.

gossipgirl212 @ckcloset1 i'm not even a doctor and i can tell he's not alright based on what you tell me. i hope he is getting other medical opinions. has any of his memory come back? also, did he mention why he does not want to proceed with workers comp?

ckcloset1 @gossipgirl212 Well, I don't know who his general physician is and it seemed like none of the doctors or nurses at the hospital had heard of her. She's probably a quack who just gives out meds. My brother is on two meds that can be sold as drugs and we are not sure why he's on one of them and none of us knew he was taking one of them. He seems very paranoid this last week. He still doesn't know what happened to him. He doesn't understand things.

ckcloset1 @gossipgirl212 I know he wants to go back to work ASAP. I think he believes if he gets an attorney and does Workers Comp. that he's going to be fired and then he won't have a job. He needs money for bills. I think that's what he's thinking but I'm not really sure. He gets frustrated when I try to talk to him about it. I really don't think he understands.

gossipgirl212 @ckcloset1 i'm not an employment lawyer but they have whistleblower laws. not sure if it applies here, but generally an employer cannot fire an employee in retaliation. however, it does not prevent an employer from fabricating an excuse for the firing....

ckcloset1 @gossipgirl212 Yes, I do not think he can firing him for doing the Workers Comp. stuff but he is afraid they will find a reason to fire him or treat him badly while he's at work. He said, he likes his job. He really does need a better job though because he has a back problem but he won't listen to anyone. So, I can't make him just go talk to the attorney and hear what he says.
