hendon Good Morning, Have not replied because our electric has been out for the past two days. We had the worst storm ever here Friday night. Trees down everywhere on cars, it kill 12 cows of our neighbors, real sad here. We thought our roof was coming off. This is so strange, it was 60 Sat. Morning. It it our 90 degrees coming down from the north and it was bad. Lightening was continuous ly lighting up the sky.

hendon Hope your parents are O. K? I did hear about their bad weather too. And Missouri got really bad flooding also. I am from Cuba, Mo. and all my family still lives there. hendon We live on a Mountain in North Georgia, so we never have a problem with floods. But when those hurricanes come this way, it is scary because of all the many trees we have. I think I would rather be back in Florida when they move in than here. We have some huge trees and it is rocky and easily blown over. Last night the wind, hail and rain was tremendous. We got 4 inches in about 30 minutes. Hard to imagine, huh.

hendon Hey, You know that thou, don't you? I just seen you are from Cape Coral. We lived in Boca Raton. I really hated to leave, loved it down there. My husband trained a young guy and they let my husband go without any notice. It was during that bad economy and he could not find another job that would pay anything. He is a commissioned auto painter, so we hate to come back to house here. He was out of work for 8 months.

I don't think I could deal with the winters of Chicago anymore LOL do you guys ever think about coming back this way? And yes the pay in Florida is pretty low all around the board but the cost of living is also pretty darn low.

hendon No, My family did not want to go back. My husband painted cars in an 110"degrees and with the Florida heat he was not doing good. Oh, Chicago weather is cold and windy. Missouri was not that windy and cold. This weather here gets extreme because of the altitude. The electric goes out all the time because of the trees. The ice and wind storms get bad even thou we are not up in the northern states. I love your warm weather, really miss it.

hendon I am repairing shoes, cleaning purses and mending clothes today. Been putting it off while I was sick. It's part of my organizing to put my things up in closet so the rest can be sold. I just ruined a pair that had scuffs, and the color come off. China shoes are horrible. The dyes stink, color fades and rub off and they are not sized correctly. I try to stay with leathers, they do not hurt or burn my feet. Now I need to sew handles on purses and repair my jewelry.
