modstitch @csrota 29.5” is the unstretched measurement. Due to the gathered fabric and elasticized waist, there’s quite a bit of stretch to this style. ☺️

modstitch @jettjack if you lay it flat and measure across, it’s a 1 inch difference. It’s a Tie Waist and they’re flowy. What size do you normally wear, I’d be happy to help you with sizing.
