Hey girl I’m so curious to know how yours fit! I really hope one size works out for you! I got my Xs’s in and I’m super happy I chose that size as opposed to the small. I know my A cup wouldn’t have filled it out well. I’m hoping yours work out because I’m sure you’d look so good in them!

@kraymond_5 the mediums only fit on the tightest latch (which means it’ll stretch out to be too big after a few wears) but the small was a LOT of cleavage. i’m just not sure i’m comfortable looking like that (& where would i even wear it? i couldn’t even lift in it?!) so i need to decide over the weekend. but lying flat, the medium is wider than the cross back medium i have. and looks bigger.

@gsouerwine Yea I can totally see if you have a bigger chest how it’s uncomfortable. I have no boobs what so ever so I think that’s why I’m cool with them 😂😂

@kraymond_5 it always infuriated me that “fitness” apparel will “allow” you to have a butt, because that’s cool & tendy now, but not (natural) boobs above a 34B. i hate to get all political, but these companies owned and operated by early 20s guys are really perpetuating unrealistic body image - they only want instagram-worthy model types wearing their stuff. so they only make it for those sizes.

@kraymond_5 the GS & Alph guys both model their women’s lines after their girlfriends bodies. which are beautiful, but not in any way a realistic representation of most women.
also. opening up a package from an athletic line shouldn’t leave me in tears bc it makes me feel like my body is wrong.

@gsouerwine Yea that’s why i was so concerned they wouldn’t look good on me. I don’t have boobs in fact my cleavage was the first thing I lost. I didn’t have much to start with but now I’m completely flat. All the models have bigger chests except gabby scheyen who has no boobs as well so I followed her advice. But yea the bikini competitors that alphalete has rally doesn’t help with my body insecurities.

@gsouerwine And I can definitely see how they have target audiences. The girls who usually wear the leggings are leaner with bigger booties. I can’t say I’m far off from that body type. I only have fluff around my lower tummy and back and I have a medium sized booty so I can’t necessarily say I’m too far off their target audience.

@gsouerwine that’s why I’m scarred from gymshark and will never purchase again. Literally when I first started my fitness journey I had a loooot more belly fat and when I got my gs order in I cried from how it made my figure look. That’s why I sold every gs piece I owned and found a new brand. I reallly really hope you find a brand that makes you feel happy and confident because that’s what alphalete is to me.

I don’t know if you’ve seen ptula but that brand is really good too. It makes me feel super confident in my own skin. Their cropped hoodies are what got me out of my shell with cropped things. It’s fit amazingly for tons of body types in my opinion. I’m really starting to enjoy purchasing from them because their owner is super athletic but she’s still a medium and 150 lbs. I love how she’s not a typical XS because I’m not either

I'm ALSO a medium and 150 (well, 145-150 depending on how much beer I've had) but my boobs are natural. so I'm a 32DDD/DD depending. so most companies don't make things that fit me properly and I am always showing way more cleavage than I like. GS sucks. I kept a few of their older pieces and dumped the rest.

@gsouerwine I don’t know about ptula bras but I love their leggings and hoodies. They definitely are a great company. Still small but their quality is so good. @jwsules would probably completely back end with this statement. They seriously are the best!

@gsouerwine Yea I hope they get the sizing and everything together as well. I heard one of their influencers share that their manufacturer screwed them by taking a short cut on the last launch of leggings. They made an unapproved change in the legging. Apparently they didn’t catch it until it was launched. And also she said they knew they felt different but couldn’t place a finger on why. I’m not going to even make an excuse for that mistake. It should have been caught.

@gsouerwine but apparently it will be fixed in the future. And thankfully they pulled the black because it wasn’t squat proof on everyone. I think that mistake meant they have to be more careful with damage control of these leggings and their products overall. So I’m happy because now with more pressure they have to release good products.

@emnmlove so I got a small in the first generation and they fit. The tightest setting works perfectly for me and then for the second gen I got an XS and I’m sitting at the third clasp. So I think I can say safely you’d be able to wear an XS in the red. I hope this can help.

@sviri143 I'm a 32DD and the bra had plenty of coverage, was just too big in the back, even on the tightest hook. so my gut instinct is to say yes. but I can definitely measure the band when I get home tonight and make sure it'll do a 36 comfortably. I will say, the 5 hooks does make a difference in how it fits - there's a lot more wiggle room in these.

@sviri143 haha. if you're taking about gymshark... pretty much EVERYONE looks like a whale in that. they are now only making clothes for XS models who "can" wear a small but "omg its just a bit too big." (have you seen those new bikinis?!?! wtf)
