@firstnamesonly all our towels are originally made in Turkey and made of real Turkish cotton. Thats why they are very thin yet very absorbent at the same time-- To rate the absorbency on the 1-10 scale, good quality Bath Towel with terry loops being 10 - Aysesa Beach towels are 7. They are quite absorbent, lightweight and hypoallergenic which feels good on the skin.
