littlegypsie@bwise5h0rty no problem- I'll ship your dresses first thing in the morning! Both dresses are 2 of my favorites! I'm so glad you're getting them together. The other one is also similar to another free people dress, I can't remember the name.

bwise5h0rty@littlegypsie they are both gorgeous! I cannot wait to receive them!

blood27Hi, what size would you say a Large is equivalent to?

Jan 23Reply

littlegypsie@blood27 Hi, Probably a size 9 or 10. I'm actually in the middle of getting measurements posted on all my listings. I can pull a large now and tag you here with measurements.

Jan 23Reply

littlegypsie@blood27 Hi again, this dress is not easy to measure- simply because the fit depends on where it's tied and the elastic waist. Just like the Free people dress- there is visible "side bust" & cleavage. Here's my approximation- Chest is about 17-18" flat across, Waist will stretch to 20", Length is about 36".

Jan 23Reply

littlegypsie@blood27 when I'm looking at the size charts for US women- the measurements put this dress in size Large at a size 9 or 10 (I was correct). I hope that's helpful.

Jan 23Reply

littlegypsieand one more thing- my waist measurement is also flat/across. not around.

Jan 23Reply

blood27@littlegypsie hm..I don’t think I’d fit in a 9-10 :( I love this dress:(

Jan 23Reply

littlegypsie@blood27 aww, I'm sorry- it is really cute!

farmersdghtr22Can you model it?

Mar 13Reply

littlegypsie@farmersdghtr22 Hi, I can't do any modeling today. It does look exactly the same on me as the model (except she's much prettier 😊). I did keep one in Small for myself- because i do really love it, I'll see if I can model it tomorrow and tag you.

Mar 13Reply

farmersdghtr22@littlegypsie don’t sell your self short:) I love the look of the dress but I have an hourglass figure and a large bust and just wonder how it would look on me, also is there any special washing instructions?

Mar 14Reply

littlegypsie@farmersdghtr22 I can't believe I didn't put the fabric care in the description- I've been trying to update all my listing with it. For this dress- Handwash Cold/Line Dry. I've already washed mine a couple of times- and it's remained just as pretty and soft as it was when they came it.

Mar 14Reply

littlegypsie@farmersdghtr22 Hi again, Updated pic- For reference: I'm 5ft, 95lbs, C cup, and I'm wearing the Small. That's the dress that I kept for myself- I have worn and washed it several times. I hope that's helpful!

farmersdghtr22Super helpful thank you

littlegypsie@farmersdghtr22 you’re welcome

almyeganIt looks like it would be pretty hard to wear a bra with it because the back is open like that. I’m between 32DD-34D... is there any kind of support in the bust area? Bc I’m usually not comfortable going without a bra... especially wearing white!

Apr 02Reply

littlegypsie@almyegan Hi, there is no support in the chest. The dress that you see me in- that is the one that I kept, and I don't wear a bra with it (but, I'm not much on wearing a bra). I recommend- if you are used to wearing a bra, then the sticky supports or the sticky/pasties covers are the best- I do wear those from time to time, (I'm a C cup)- especially if I think I'm going somewhere that I might be cold. I hope that's helpful :)

mcmooneyI'm 55, 145 and 36 D chest what size do you think?

Apr 29Reply

littlegypsie@mcmooney Hi, I'd say a large. I recently gave an approximation of the Large size above in the comments. I'll paste it below this comment.

Apr 29Reply

littlegypsie@mcmooney "this dress is not easy to measure- simply because the fit depends on where it's tied and the elastic waist. Just like the Free people dress- there is visible "side bust" & cleavage. Here's my approximation- Chest is about 17-18" flat across, Waist will Stretch to 20", Length is about 36". "

Apr 29Reply

mcmooneyDo you happen to have the measurements for the medium and also do you know by chance what size the dress is that is on the cake model not the person, thank you so much

Apr 29Reply

mcmooneyFake not cake sorry lol

Apr 29Reply

littlegypsie@mcmooney Let me get back with you in just a few minuets. I'm headed to the Post Office right now. Give me about half an hour. I saw your offer, but I want you to be sure about Med vs Large.

Apr 29Reply

littlegypsie@mcmooney to answer your other question- the one on the mannequin is a Small, and that particular mannequin is XS/Small. I'm wearing the same dress, and I'm a Size Small (you can see I fill it out more than the mannequin)- I hope that's helpful.

Apr 29Reply

littlegypsie@mcmooney Hi again, The Medium laid out flat/untied - the chest is about 16-17 inches. The elastic waist with a full stretch is about 18 inches. Let me know which you prefer.

Apr 29Reply

mcmooneyI think I'll still go with a medium

Apr 29Reply

mcmooneyThank you so much for all the help, I really appreciate it.

Apr 29Reply

littlegypsie@mcmooney you're welcome- I'll ship tomorrow afternoon.

bwise5h0rtyHey! Are the straps adjustable? I am 4’10” but i wear a 34D and since there is only a large left i am wondering if it would fit...this is a gorgeous dress!

May 30Reply

littlegypsie@bwise5h0rty Hi, the straps are adjustable- because it depends on where you tie it in back- actually the entire bodice fit is determined on where it's tied.

May 30Reply

littlegypsie@bwise5h0rty Here's the info that I gave another Posher (further up in the comments) about the size large: "this dress is not easy to measure- simply because the fit depends on where it's tied and the elastic waist. Here's my approximation- Chest is about 17-18" flat across, Waist will Stretch to 20", Length is about 36".

May 30Reply

bwise5h0rty@littlegypsie thank you for the information! Do you think you would ever restock the small or medium?

May 31Reply

littlegypsie@bwise5h0rty Hi again, I'm just now getting to all of the comments from last night. I had a ton. I was just about to accept your offer, but now I see you cancelled it. This manufacturer is out of stock- so I can't re-stock it.

May 31Reply

bwise5h0rty@littlegypsie hey! Sorry about that but i had to change my information in order to offer you that price! Thank you for the speedy response! I just resent my offer!

May 31Reply

bwise5h0rty@littlegypsie they are both gorgeous! I cannot wait to receive them!
