I traded a brand NWT Kendra Scott Lucas for what was supposed to be an iridescent Rayne w/a seller named newbasement. She deceived me by sending a gross, dirty, scratched, tarnished, obviously very old plain slate one instead of the one she had pictured, which was NWT & iridescent. Once I called her out on it she lowered my 5 star rating on the perfect Lucas I sent her & blocked me from her closet! DO NOT trade or buy from newbasement! She is a dishonest seller & should be avoided at all costs!

skelco11 @angelaswear thank you-I’ve traded many times on here and never had a problem. I’ve opened a case against her and she says she’s not even sure that’s the one she sent me! I would NEVER treat my pieces like this or even have one like that in my collection. Not sure how she can sleep at night, ripping me off, but there’s always karma. Please keep sharing so no one else gets scammed

enz13 Older versions of the Rayne necklace were made in a paler, duller gold metal. The necklace pictured there is definitely an older edition because it has a sticky barcode tag on it instead of a newer hang tag on a string. It also looks like she never explicitly said it was a “clear iridescent” Rayne, like I’m sure you were expecting...

enz13 I’m sure it was frustrating to receive that necklace when you were expecting a different one, but to me, it seems like an honest mistake by her, who was just saying that the stone was “iridescent”, as most shiny stones are. She does even say in the listing title that it was grey. I’m not trying to invalidate your frustration with the situation, but it feels kind of harsh to put her out here to burn at the stake when it really doesn’t seem like her intention was to deceive you

skelco11 @enz13 she has 2 side-by-side listings-the original one w/the tag pictured and the. A second that’s totally different. She said it was brand new with tags, and it obviously wasn’t. I can understand if she misspoke about it being iri, but she obviously switched it out and sent me the old one. She also went off on me, called me all kinds of names, and downgraded her original 5 star rating of the piece I sent her purely out of spite

skelco11 I started out merely asking if she’d made a mistake and then she went crazy on me. If you could see the one she sent me, which she said was new w/tags, you’d understand. It was so gross I didn’t even want to touch it. I have several old Raynes and I know she witches manufacturers-some of mine are fuller. But hers was extremely tarnished and the stone was scratched up
