angelpaws @jorie_b awww... your mom sounds amazing! My mom was a nurse too. My dad was disabled when I was 2. She went to school later in life and became a nurse! She took care of him and worked in a nursing home. They both died when I was young, but I think she passed that caring heart to me ♡♡♡

thriftgrammy Glad to meet you. My daughter has just gone back to school to be a nurse and I've been in the field for 21 yrs. Best of luck. I have scrubs listed and I'm getting ready to list bunches of sets, barely used. They no longer fit me. Bought as I was gaining weight prior to my thyroid diagnosis. Didn't get to wear long. Ugh!! So keep checking back when you start working.

seriouslyviolet @angelpaws don't buy scrubs until you get a job because usually different hospitals units require different color scrubs. And all nursing schools are pretty strict about what you wear during your training. 💜💕💕Linda

believer13 @angelpaws I worked as a nurse for 30 years and an Nurse Practitioner for 24 if you ever have any questions let me know ! Word of advice always be kind to yourself - nursing is a vocation and like other professions you don’t get weekends off or holidays ! What you do matters more then you will ever know - you will help some people and see some pass on ! You will be yelled at by some families while working under staffed - know this God sees all and in the end that’s all that matters 🙏
