urbangeishala @chanellvlover well that’s my opinion in general I guess. I have a solid gold cartier piece and I went to cartier to get it serviced and they told me the same model is now only made as gold plated, not solid. How sad

herdofcrows1 @chanellvlover Rolex come with a certificate of authenticity so that should be in the box. You can also tell what year it was made by the material used for the face. Example: If the face were Sodalite it was made in 20??. You can also get a magnifying glass and look below the 6:00 mark. Rolex have a Rolex crown etched into the inside of the crystal. Hope this helps

jimcherrix First I would have my own authentication done (not a problem as Rolex did a cleaning, etc. because I lived in a NC town that was more like Mayberry, so my jeweler there shipped it off to Rolex in NYC.)The cleaning, etc. cost me $1,000🤦‍♀️. I use real authentication.com. They've saved me from buying a fake Hermés and a fake Versace. The authentication with a COA should be about $50.
