Authentic massive leather Chanel tote bag. Per authentication c.1986-1988. Confirmed as 100% authentic (w/ certificate from authentication service).
Brown leather & gold hardware. Detachable straps w/ chains. "CC" logo in gold hardware-serves as turnlock for another internal compartment. Plenty of storage.
When flat, ~ dimensions: 18"X15"X4". Can serve as a travel bag (fits a laptop).

@dutchessxoxo - see I am the same way :-). My kids are still small and it one point I had three babies-two-year-old twins and a newborn. Always carried a massive handbag-meticulously organized, never put on the floor-I'm very "type a", neurotic & OCD :-) Bags that I had years ago are still in pristine condition :-) xo
Yes I concur and my husband jokes that I could easily transport my whole house in a handbag :-)

@rfiduccia my word! I only had one at a time and still managed to take 3 outfits, 2 blankets, 3 hats, 6 bottles, extra of everything. My mother put the fear of God in me about needing something and not having it lol. That was 25 years ago. The more things change the more things remain the same lol

Thank you, I like to be eminently prepared for not only my children, but also for any emergent situations (i.e. multiple outfits, first aid, snacks, reading materials, games, etc.).

That being said, I just listed my authentic vintage black leather Chanel travel tote. It is currently not for sale but I wasn't sure how else to share :-).
My memory was not completely accurate-it is about 19" x 15" x 6". Still a fairly large bag by any standard.

Currently not for sale but I don't think Chanel makes hand bags quite as big anymore (unless it's classified as luggage).

Oh hello.
I have this exact bag in dark navy and bought it in aspen and absolutely love it especially for travel !!!! It’s an excellent size even for everyday and made terrific!!! This should sell soon !!!

If you will take a look at my closet, you will see a number of items that are “NFS”-“not for sale”.
I think it’s to give other sellers and buyers an idea of what is representative of the Posher’s closet.
