yesitsavailable @vickieavery72 These pants are a denim Jean and they do have some stretch. High quality but not heavy. Well constructed jeans & very substantial looking. Not cheapie. The cords for lace are a thick strong braided soft material, The laces not adjustable it just stretches with the leg. So you don't have any additional strings hanging out anywhere or tucked inside .
