jessandlyn @tracibryan Hi Traci! The medium has a 26" waist/diaphragm (where the stretches across underneath the chest.) The material is stretchy though and could stretch out to 28" comfortably..maybe even 29." This is more of an empire waist style dress so it's going to fit more right underneath the chest then the dress drops out. I am a M/L size (size 8/10) and it fits comfortably.
