is the fabric silky or more like cotton

The fabric is a little stretchy and has a slight sheen. It is definitely structured and fitted. I imagine it is a cotton/spandex blend, but unfortunately the tag has been cut out. It's a wonderful jacket. I just love the watercolor flowers.
