This year’s Christmas was a white sand one instead of white snow. 😉 However, we returned home to a recent storm which left 14” of heavy, wet snow. snr1955 @omi_omy My neighborhood was fine as we are on high ground...however our quaint wonderful downtown on the waterfront got hammered with a huge storm surge AND a tornado touched down and did a lot of tree damage. Lots of clean up still.

snr1955 @omi_omy Thanks for your concerns. We've been thinking a lot lately of moving away from the coast...mountains in western NC maybe. Our neighbor is retired weatherman for the Coast Guard. He says due to global warming it's just going to get worse because of the increase in ocean temps.
