I have recently encounter people who are selling fake pandora.
Luckily my pandora store let me know which items were authentic and which weren’t.
The first clue they gave me was the fake jewelry pouch. This first pic is a fake pouch and the second is authentic (photos from google)
You can see the material is different including the string, the authentic is more soft and see through
and the fake one has no copy right logo and the pandora “O” logo is different.

@jqmartinez7 That's a good catch! Will share to my followers. This should help to catch and be aware of fake sellers. Let's help Honest Sellers & Honest Sellers protect their hard earned money. This pouch is for the Pandora Collection and the black one is for the silver.

I just bought a safety chain from a seller and took it to the store to make sure it was authentic, and turned out it wasn’t 😑. It’s kind of upsetting because these people are listing it as authentic.
jqmartinez7
@prijimenez I know! The same happen to me, it’s always good to check with pandora within the three days Poshmark gives us.
The same happen to me with a charm, and it wasn’t magnetic but I still took it and they told me it was fake. Luckily the seller was nice to give me a refund. Sometimes seller buy in bulks to resell so sometimes it isn’t there fault but we should always be cautious.

Oh no...I bought one w the 1st bag...and i don't remember which charm it was!! I ask before i purchased but it's always easy to say," it's authentic ." Bummer...
jqmartinez7
@candycanep oh no! Just take your charms to pandora and say that you heard rumors going around of fake pandora charms, and they'll check them for you. I did get one in the past with a fake bag and the charm was real, and one time when they were both fake. It really just depends on the seller. Sometimes it's just easier to ship them that way.

@jqmartinez7....will take it this weekend to Pandora...hope it's real...thanks!! And I guess we will just have to be more careful...

Thanks for this post! Does anyone know how they can tell whether a charm is fake? There’s a lot of seemingly retired charms out there for sale I would love to have but am so weary of fakes.
jqmartinez7
@iekika cas19 has a post on her closet with some info. sometimes comparing with other photos you can tell through the craftsmanship. Also if it's magnetic it's fake...

@nichi_nichi Hi, welcome to posh!
@aliciarosie @anne420 are ladiesI really trust, I've boughten several charms from both of them and I always taken them to pandora to authenticate, but sometimes I have to do it from home because cause the ladies at pandora do not want to help. But I haven't had an issue with them. I would always check with a magnet to make sure it doesn't stick, sounds like metal and not plastic, and check on details on pandora website but be mindful that they are handmade.

@jqmartinez7 ❤️❤️❤️🥰

@anne420 happy new year!
And no I don’t mind at all, just letting you know tho that they are from google.

Ugh I bought a “pandora” charm from Poshmark and it turned out to be so fake, filed a complaint and Posh denied it, even with proof comparing the charm to an authentic one, I had heard about the staff on Posh not being that knowledgeable and now I can attest to that. My advice, be very careful buying on Posh, there are so many fakes and Posh doesn’t really care, so disappointed in how they handle people!
jqmartinez7
@cathy90032 omg I’m sorry to hear, did you accept the order? Cause you have a few days to decline your order and you just send it back to the seller and get you money back.
I’m so sorry to hear this!
cathy90032
@jqmartinez7 i did not accept it, I filed the complaint added photos, etc, they denied it and somehow it shows as accepted now 🤷🏻♀️ so unprofessional, I may contact customer service.... but I feel it’s not worth the aggravation at this point
jqmartinez7
@cathy90032 I would still go for it tbh, you paid for it and the seller is getting money
That’s not fair for you
cathy90032
@jqmartinez7 you’re right.... I will. Hopefully Posh will do something about it. 🤞let this be a lesson to all.
jqmartinez7
@cathy90032 best of luck! If anything add something to a bundle and give me the user so I can help report them
cathy90032
@jqmartinez7 thank you, that’s so kind of you! contacted customer support, but haven’t heard back🤞
cathy90032
@jqmartinez7 I just posted a photo in my closet of her fake next to my real charm, her user name is aaaba
jqmartinez7
@cathy90032 just saw and that is a big obvious difference! I’ll look her up and report
cathy90032
@jqmartinez7 yep! She’s selling another one again 🤦🏻♀️
