wanderboutique@becbabe hi love! It is brass + 14k gold plated. Any jewelry that is under $100 will discolor because it is considered fashion jewelry! If you want anything that will discolor when it comes in contact with water, I would go for real gold and anything real gold will never be under $100! It will most likely cost $500+! It’s definitely an investment. I will say that my jewelry is high quality fashion jewelry but should be kept away from water to stay in the best shape ☺️
