Our granddaughter that will be 11 next month and grandson is 7, my husband and I have been watching since they were born, blood or not, they are our grandchildren and we love them as they were our own. My daughter is going on 36 so they don't have a whole lot of time to waste. I hope you can be closer to your family one day soon so you can experience that 1st of everything. I have two other littles, 11 and 7 that I take care of 3 days a week, they are not my biological grandkids but they might as well be, I love them all the same! They grow up so fast!

I just got word that the chest x-rays came back and he "may" have pneumonia. The Dr's. all doing all they can and they are keeping him overnight. My poor baby, he's only 3 months old. My heart is breaking.

He will be looked after & treated with what’s necessary so his body can heal. Try & stay positive & keep believing he’s going to be alright, & back to good health very soon. My daughter and I were just talking this morning about how lucky we are to have such a happy healthy baby. My daughter met a young mom recently that had a baby 2 days before our baby was born and her little angel has leukemia. I can't imagine, it makes me tear up thinking about that.

She's not in the best of health so we're all just glad that she got her third great grandchild and gets to spend time with him. turtlewhisperer @knitnat Oh gosh, that waiting when it gets close to the due date is nailbiting. My daughter had a terrible time with her blood pressure and swelling, especially in her legs and feet, she was miserable!! The closer she got to her due date, the closer to preeclampsia she got so she had a c-section two weeks before her due date. Wyatt weighed exactly 7 lbs and was as healthy as could be!

They were just here for a little visit, I miss him already : ( I don't know what I'm going to do when they move to AZ. We're in Southern CA, AZ isn't that far to drive but it's not the 15 minute drive it is right now. I'm tearing up just thinking about it. : (

knitnat @afish56 oh no. That’s so rough. I used to live 15 min from my mom too when we lived in NH. We moved clear across to,CA when my kids were 7, 4, and 1. I took away her only grandson🥺. They visited once a year. And we’d go here an there My daughter lives 3 hrs away and her hubby travels a lot. I’m going to start looking into getting a condo so,I can go stay close by when he’s out of town.. 👏🏻

He is the best baby ever, never ever cries, eats great and sleeps all night long since he was month old. Just enjoy, all those sleepless nights will be totally worth it.

I have one daughter and she has one son, I don't have any other kids, figure that one out : ) My other two are not even blood related, they are my daughter's step-sister's kids. I retired three months before the first was born and mom was a single mom at the time so I started watching the baby, now she's almost 12, four years later, Dillinger came along.

I drove down to my daughters to drop off some things and she asked me if I wanted to see Wyatt, I said no, that will just make it harder, I can't. My husband was driving luckily because I bawled all the way home. I have serious autoimmune issues and so I'm really locked down tight, I wouldn't survive this virus so I take no chances.

I'm trying to get as much time as I can with him now as they are moving from CA to AZ in a few weeks 😭 We all have tons.of pictures and videos, phones are always out around him, he's such a character and so photogenic.
