mitsytina @kwnicholson Since he is a teenager and almost an adult, and since this is a female jacket, I am pretty sure it will be too short for him. If he were in his middle years, 8-12, it would probably work. If you would like you could measure his torso and I will measure the jacket to be sure but most male torsos are longer than females. I don't want you to be unhappy with your purchase.

mitsytina @drip Hi - the measurements for the large are pit to pit 21” and shoulder to hem 42”. The arms do not have the Sherpa and they are just the jean material.

mitsytina @megtheforce I would say that it fits like the picture. I have sold quite a few of these and no one has complained about the fit. But just to be sure here are the measurements for the small: pit to pit in front is 18 1/4”. Shoulder seam to hem is 20 1/2”. Arm shoulder seam to wrist seam is 22 1/2”. I hope this is helpful to you. Please let me know if you would like any other measurements.
