flippintickled The total height of boot is 16.5"... I am tall, so I measure 18" from heel to bottom of MY knee-cap. These boots truly hit 1.5" below bottom of my knee cap. If you measure your lower leg length from heel up, then find where 16.5" hits, you will know how tall these would be on YOU! Hope that helps! :) --Jen

flippintickled @jgraham1980 I completely understand! I also need a 13" calf, and you may be right, since these are ever so slightly bigger at the opening, and these really do need to be a snug fit. Not that I don't want to sell them to you, but I want them to work out just right, so I have to be fair in giving all upfront info! :)
