meboutique @martini126 That’s so miserable. Hope it didn’t mess up your vacation. I am in Venice until January! Had a really bad allergic reaction to who knows what for 2 weeks starting the day after I arrived. Ended up in the hospital twice. Miserable health care here. I knew I only needed steroids but they insisted I was on renal failure. Oh please. Finally got prednisone and 12 hours later all better.

martini126 @meboutique take care. Venice is beautiful. I just returned from 12 days in Morocco & Egypt. Last visited in 1993. I ❤️ Morocco.... nicest, humble people👍 Great restaurants and open land. I’ll go back to Morocco but not Egypt. Perhaps water & food got my stomach upset there but my illness started right after I got off plane in NY last Monday; sinusitis & virus. Could have been plane & change in weather MOST LIKELY!!😫 Enjoy your vacay!

meboutique @martini126 Monocco is such a spectacular place. So sorry you are sick now. Hopefully it isn’t anything a Z-Pack can’t solve. This is my 10th winter in Venice.....this year it doesn’t seem like such a calorie neutral city though. Might need to cut back the wine and pasta consumption! Lol

meboutique @martini126 But having had such a bad allergic reaction to something for the first 2 weeks I am really watching what I am eating and have shut down the shellfish just in case since I had an issue with lobster many years ago. Which leaves lots of pasta!

martini126 @meboutique yes be selective with what U eat. I am when I travel but U can still become ill or have an allergic reaction. I did and I don’t eat red meat for over 30 years but food in other countries is prepared differently. However, U still have to enjoy yourself and “VIVA LA VIDA”😁 Enjoy your long vacay & I guess you’ll bring back some fashion ideas and items?
