@texanlady Absolutey!! I’m a green gal all the way 💚💚💚🌱💚 I either purchase from independent small designers that are conscious producing eco friendly items, and I love vintage and pre owned. It’s a lifestyle for me, all the way down to eating habits — ploping fresh greens in my pan from my summer garden as we speak 🥬 !!gardens can also sequester more carbon than lawns!! Yes ton green shopping & eats—both are better for our atmosphere & GIANT wins 🙌 green is always IN ✌️💚

@wrosegold Wow!!! That sounds like a cool store!!! I hold a degree in Arts, Arts is fascinating. Especially the creative forces that is in it. I can tell from miles away you are one of them. It took me weeks to curate every closet and it’s nor a coincidence I chose yours. You bring a breath of fresh air to Poshmark. They should create another app called Poshmark Vintage. A real vintage not junks lol

@glaminthecity I think it’s great when anyone knows what they like — It’s a conversation in our industry that has been had and can lead to higher ground — opinions and state of mind is never wrong, though I may agree or disagree as I’ve got my own individual style I have total respect for the person whose owning theirs. It’s none of my business really...I’m just flattered when anyone connects minds and of course the 🌱💚🍏message here, regardless, becomes even more so universal 🙌

@wrosegold Absolutely. Vintage is celebration of its own individual style, an era, a choice of style and a reminder of the previous owner’s lives. It should be more glorified in my opinion and not treated like an old piece or garage sale material. There are so much to it. That’s just the tip of thr iceberg. The bigger purpose is what it does for the environment. It’s huge.

@wrosegold You began the love for sure by making our thoughts tangible. I’ll think of interested others over the next days & hopefully they’ll all consider creating similar messages in their closets. Me (!?) I’m sitting on a min. of 5 racks of clothes, & bins of them + accessories/shoes/etc etc that I haven’t found time to list (we recently, well, 9 months ago, moved my 91-yr old MIL right near by & she’s got Alzheimer’s & I do a lot of her care, so... )

Had to leave my job @ Meals on Wheels—wasn’t working out to care for her & work), but anyway Poshing got left in the wind, but this January’s goal is to list everything. You’ve inspired me!! I’ve some lovely items that need homes. What I don’t list I gift to immigrant kids in need. I love YOUR vibe. And your closet. My oldest son is an Environmental Biologist so our household is pretty aware/scared/disappointed in current admin.

But we won’t give up 👍🏼♻️. And I know people like you & others won’t either. My generation + yours can be a powerful political force. Yes, we walk the daily walk in our communities, but we must also stay abreast of political bills, candidates, etc... call to leave messages of disagreement, attend town halls to speak up, & of course vote, w/ all the friends we can muster.
