hxchxi does it fit true to size? i’m usually a 7 but sometimes frye boots can be a little tight.. should I order a 7 or up half a size?

kreeezie @helenofchoi hmm I'm always a 7.5 and another style I have fits me true to size. These I haven't tried but I can get you the measurements after work today if you'd like to compare them to boots you have?

kreeezie @helenofchoi okay the size 7.5 is 11 inches long and about 4 inches at its widest. The size 7 is also 11 inches long and 4 inches wide lol. I just tried both and honestly it's really hard to tell the difference. It's leather so it will soften a bit either way when you break them in. Would you be wearing them with thicker socks?

misstazo Does it hug your ankle or is there alot of room between the ankle and boot?

kreeezie @misstazo hmm, on the sides I'd say it's closer to your ankle but there's def gaps in the front and back of the boot opening. Hope that helps and feel free to let me know if you have other questions :)

kaymadchi Hi. Are they made in China? I'm asking because if they are, they are half size smaller for me. If they are made in Mexico? They are true to size for me. Frye has their boots made in either place. Respectfully, Karen

kreeezie @morganw1717 hmm good question lol, they look very similar to me. Do your boots have the x stitching on the sides under the elastic part? That's the only difference I can see and maybe a slightly higher heel on the Melissa chelsea boot. I can get the exact heel measurement when I get home from work :)

kreeezie @morganw1717 I'm the same sizes and could wear either the 7 or 7.5 in this boot. I can't tell a difference and usually if there's no half size I end up wearing the 7 and it works out for me lol
