@victoriahommel It is a very lightweight 100% Cotton Knit Sweater. Not sweatshirt material. It is a knit, not a woven like a sweatshirt. It is really more like a top, but the manufacturer calls it a "lightweight knit sweater". The styling at the neckline (crew neck) is like a sweatshirt, though. I will say it is as comfortable as a sweatshirt. Hope this helps!
