I too lost my daughter 13 years ago, it takes a long time to get to the point when you think of them you don't cry but you then smile. vtg_bohemian I’m So Sorry for your Loss! My Aunt took her life with me and my cousins in the home when I was 9 yrs old. I can remember that horrible image of finding her like it was yesterday! teriwilliams829 I am so sorry. A couple of years ago we spent the better part of two years dealing with depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts with our then 16 year old. I was terrified all of the time and felt so out of control. We seem to have successfully navigated the crisis, but it’s never far from my mind and I still am constantly on the watch for depression to rear it’s ugly head again. I will say prayers for your family. Mental illness touches so many and as a society we must do more.

The statistics are really quite frightening. We have so many stressors in our society, and so many people deal with depression ❤ I am one of them! I feel lucky to have a good support system & found the right antidepressant that works for me. I have good days & bad, the last year was rough but I try to take one moment at-a-time ❤❤❤
