@mebythelake Hi. No worries. The hardware is silver. The best way to describe the closure is a hasp closure, which is just basically decorative but is simply a press and pull mechanism. The dimensions taken from the outside are 11 inches wide 7 inches tall

width at base 4 inches depth 6 inches ( since it's a soft purse those dimensions are relative to its design but may change depending on what you put inside)
