The gold fabric has a good sturdy stretch to it. {95%-polyester | 5% spandex} It is both soft and strong. Needs NO ironing and the gold gleam is soft and spectacular. ~ May it fit her fine . . . and fit new adventures that shine all the finer. ~ Kate
