Decorative gold buckle in the front but it is yoir generic snap close, and it zips shut underneath that. It's a small bag, about 8" tall & 9" wide, but the deepest compartment will only hold up to about 7 inches. Still, there's a good number of little ones including a zipper in the back. The cross body strap can be shortened or removed completely. The little holes in the pattern gives it sort of a saddlebag/western vibe to me. No idea what brand, it came from Amazon. Make me an offer!
