Get yourself an array of Elf and a friend who can wash hair, and circuit the rest homes bi-monthly for hair/makeup Saturdays so the residents feel their best for Sunday visits. I work with Staff who coordinate bathing and dressing. For those without plans, I may move my work to Sunday as the “visitor.” I’m no Makeover Guy but I believe that Loneliness is as debilitating as any chronic disease and care that shows matters. Our elderly are a blessing, and they need attention, not a box of candy.
