A good way to see if it will fit - take a piece of your own clothing that is similar and you know fits you well. Measure your own piece using these guidelines and compare to measurements in my listing

How do you put a message in a square like you did asking about about measurements?
lonthelookout
@roblyn24 this was just a screenshot. I did not create this particular image.

@acolina85 feel free to copy or use the idea however it works for you ❤️ I just screenshot these so I didn’t actually create them haha

@makeupsmecrazy I’m totally using this! I think it’s so funny how many times people will comment on an item with questions like “Are these pants ankle-length?” Or “I’m 5’7” and weigh 165, will this dress fit me?” Lol I truly have no idea, but I do provide measurements for all my listings so I think this is a great tool to share so buyers can understand better if a piece is right for them!

@sarah4thenguyen haha yea. I honestly have no idea how many people looking at my items look at this post though lol. But hopefully it helps someone 🤷♀️

@lonthelookout Can I just correct one thing? When measuring jeans turn them over and measure the back waist band. It's straighter and gives a more accurate measurement. The front, when laying flat, is often at least 2" bigger than the back because it lays on a wider part of the jeans. 🤔
Great chart otherwise! 👍😊

@kamo74 thanks! Yea that’s what I do too. This chart is just from Pinterest to help folks out a bit.
