artflower @slmslp1 hi! Thank you for your question. Yes the medium is just under 32" in the large is approximately 31". Just the way it was manufactured I suppose. They were measured from the top of the shoulder to the longest point of the hemline which is uneven. The items are hard to measure though as it's a stretchy fabric and you could get a slightly different measurement each time you measure it practically but the measurements are very close.
