Plz don’t do biz w/ this scammer. Update 11/3: New DA came in office & he dismissed it. Too small of potatoes I guess 🤷‍♀️ I’ve a yr or so to file in Civil court but haven’t put any time/effort into it. She seems to have a pretty crappy life so I figure she’s living in her own karma. I tried & hopefully it caused her at least one night’s unrest so she had time to reflect on what type of person she is. Old Update: Non-jury Trial on 5-13-21 Zoom & I’m victim/witness. I was asked if I would take payment & allow to dismiss case/court. I declined as she’s still on here & will continue to scam when she can. I’ve seen nothing in her actions to show me she’s regretful/learned a lesson & would stop. Her hometown police pressed charges after tracking her down/listening to her lies of not having my addy/any way to contact me. They saw thru that:She blocked me here/FB.

designingdeb@missstephlee so I am NOT harassing anyone? I’m a potential consumer asking for verification. You and I never discussed Swarovski and I’ve reported her in the past before I knew you. Her closet had already grabbed my attention for reasons having nothing to do with you. So they can all knock their socks off! Wrong is wrong. I spend a lot of time helping people grow closets the right way. Not by misrepresenting items.

Jan 31Reply

designingdeb@missstephlee Amen to talking jewelry! My stepmom got me started. My brother went to jewelry school and it grew from there! I love the creativity! How the stones can ‘speak’ to me and crazy cool designs evolve! Well I should have been asleep hours ago!! Enjoy your time off and I hope we can talk again when you return!!

Jan 31Reply

Is this listing inappropriate? Report Listing

frock_n_fashionI had to do the same thing. She changed her closet name and Posh let her stay.

Apr 26Reply

missstephlee@my_satanic_porn This girl traded a Jimmy Choo purse for designer shoes but her purse had major hidden damage. She said she preferred to keep my shoes & pay $300, but then demanded I send back her purse to protect her from me keeping damaged purse and $. I sent her purse back & she still won’t pay me.

Apr 26Reply

missstephleeAnd get this! She has the same purse up for sale AGAIN without telling if damage. 🙄 I have an Attorney hubs though and free time when kids at school so I’ve made making her life a legal hell until she pays me. I’ll make her an example to all others looking to be slimey scammers on here.

Apr 26Reply

missstephlee@frock_n_fashion Once alerted to a scammer I would think Posh becomes complicit in any future scams the scammers does by knowingly allowing them to continue but 🤷‍♀️

Apr 26Reply

bitsofbeautiful@my_satanic_porn omg this is scary

Apr 26Reply

pish_posh_btqCan I share this with my tag group? I think this needs to get out to others stat before she attacks again!

Apr 27Reply

heidizmeHow can you find out the name of the new closet so I can tell my friends to stay away..that's crazy.. I bet she sold your shoes... Posh is a great community why does there have to be people to ruin it for others...

Apr 28Reply

missstephlee@ksampson0609 yes, please! Someone else commented to me the other day that this person got them for a pair of pants, sent wrong ones and Katie said send back and she’ll send correct pair but then never sent even after she got the return.

Apr 28Reply

missstephlee@heidizme if you know the type of stuff in her closet you can search her items perhaps. Ex: If you were looking for me you could search Prada purses/shoes my size and find me after looking thru a few items. Or by her city if it’s not a major one? It can be hard if they ghost & start a whole new posh profile.

Apr 28Reply

missstephleeI go into the PD tomorrow (need to appear in person) to finish pressing charges for Grand Larceny Under False Pretenses. She probably thinks I let it go & she's in for a rude awakening after tomorrow morning. I'm entering in a declaration from another Posher who she scammed so if there are any others who received fake items or didn't get what she promised them, let me know & I'll enter in your info into the evidence against her as well.

Apr 29Reply

missstephlee@nj100 @lblack13 @jplola82 @jillbuff Here's pics of the Jimmy Choo handle underneath that scarf....beware Kgustafson781 sends out fake or damaged items in trades and I'm currently in middle of pressing criminal charges and filing a civil suit against her for the Jimmy Choo purse you liked specifically (as well as other items).

Apr 29Reply

queen_lux08@missstephlee thank you so much and I'm so happy you're not letting her get away with this! ❤ Sharing!

Apr 29Reply

lblack13@missstephlee- THANK YOU!! You just saved me about $500 or more....🤑

Apr 30Reply

dm31103@missstephlee just blocked her. Hope u win.

Apr 30Reply

trillionairis@missstephlee so happy I just started here so sorry to hear that. So disheartening 😞😖😫

May 02Reply

missstephleeHer hometown police tracked her down, listened to her lies of how she doesn’t know how to get ahold of me (She’s blocked me on FB & here). He saw through her lies and after finding out she still hasn’t contacted/paid me he’s pressing charges and Scheduling the hearing today!

May 08Reply

missstephleeShe’ll be forced to pay is for full bundle value of $1200 now and Grand Larceny Under False Pretenses will be add to her other 3 convictions. I’m also going to add on expenses and lawyer fees as I’ll actually go & appear in person in court to nail it down harder the longer it takes her to pay me. I’ll then send court papers to Posh to fully close down her account if she takes it that far.

May 08Reply

missstephleeAfter the criminal proceedings I’ll be filing a civil suit as well until I’m made whole. This has caused me to lose many hours over multiple days and dealing with multiple police departments in my city and her city. All expenses and lawyer fees will be added. The longer she waits, the worse this gets and the more she’ll owe me.

May 08Reply

missstephlee@klw4670 She *JUST* changed the purse listing since cops visited her to say it has handle damage under scarf but no pics of it. My Prada shoes are for sale on her www.facebook.com/Exclusively still and a pair of Burberry shoes Idk what she did with.

May 08Reply

rarossettiWhat a lowlife... 😒 I hope all goes well!

May 09Reply

myhaileyThanks so horrible , how could anyone do that ! I hope you succeed with charges

May 14Reply

missstephlee@dotnicholson My hubs & I already decided I’ll fly out if/when needed. I gave her dozens of chances to right this somehow in multiple ways. She dug herself into a hole she can’t get out of and has 3 past theft charges on her record and I know how to present info correctly in the way courts prefer since my hubs is a lawyer. She’s in slow moving legal quicksand & gets worse the more she fights it.

May 14Reply

missstephleeI almost feel bad for her except I gave her so many chances to get out of it....on here, on FB, her mom could’ve tried to help her but blocked me as well. I really did try everything before taking this route and warned her multiple times, even after filing the police report I tried. Smh 🤷‍♀️

May 14Reply

bflogirlbrrr@missstephlee good luck with all. Be confident that you will prevail.

May 15Reply

cherieito@missstephlee hi hun, Good for you! She's a thief plan & simple!! Posh should help you & others that go thru this. Don't feel sorry for her, get what's yours!!

May 15Reply

missstephlee@lmiller67 just wanted you to know that she has been charged with Grand Larceny (theft) was under false pretenses by her local police due to a trade she did with me and scammed me. The police talked to her and still charged with the evidence I had. We’re awaiting the hearing for this current one. She also had 3 other theft convictions.

May 17Reply

missstephleeTrade with caution as Posh won’t get involved with trades and she won’t return items or pay up for them even after you return gets first (she’ll say she’s afraid of you scamming her and not sending but that’s what she does).

May 17Reply

lmiller67@missstephlee omg I am sorry that happened...I almost did a trade with her too except that I backed out at the last minute. I backed out of another trade with someone else that ended up scamming people too. Maybe they are friends who knows! I am glad that she is getting what she deserves. It sounds like you have her plenty of chances.

May 17Reply

lasknickknacks@dotnicholson I hope you win girl!!! I had a similar problem with someone else 😡 it sucks that people are dishonest...I hope it all turns out well and good for you! Let this be a lesson to those a-holes who think they can just get away with it! On another note...Happy Poshing PFFs!

May 29Reply

myhailey@lasknickknacks it’s not me that got ripped off , I was just commenting on what happened to this ladies post !

May 29Reply

lasknickknacks@dotnicholson lol!!! I’m so sorry! Not totally awake just yet 😂

May 29Reply

myhailey@lasknickknacks hey no problem at all no matter who it happened to, it’s sad to know people can do things like this to others ! But have a cup of coffee 😃 and enjoy your day

May 29Reply

artzstufClearly not authentic. Can see us not leather but synthetic in pix. Need to be very cautious here!

Jun 04Reply

artzstuf@missstephleewent thru this with several here selling fake goods. Posh just refunded me after returning and they are still selling crap here! Blows.

Jun 04Reply

missstephleeNow she’s posted my stolen Prada shoes on here 🤬. I don’t antes to post on the listing that they’re mine in an open police case to warn others to not buy but I’m blocked 😤

Jun 12Reply

crystalco@missstephlee Hi! I’m so sorry this happened to you , but I’m glad to know you’re getting it resolved. She was following me, so I blocked her. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Jun 15Reply

annimelI’m glad you’re pressing charges. This is happening way too much! Why do people have to be so dishonest and crappy just to make a few bucks 😒

Jun 16Reply

faithoverfear07@missstephlee Good Luck. I had a bad trade experience where we agreed she’d get my set for her TB tblock and she never sent me the TB after she got my set and sold it for $80 she then said she wasn’t sending me a TB at all. She sold a $400 set for $80 it’s not my fault she sold it for that it was worth way more. After over 30 days she finally sent me a used MK used leggings and a used Wristlet Vera Wang far from what I was suppose to get.

Jun 16Reply

faithoverfear07@missstephlee I accepted the order because I was tired of getting the run around from her. This person has had 4 closets banned on Poshmark for harassment and is still here on Poshmark. Posh needs to start going by peoples addresses or something to make sure they can’t reopen. I just think when you agree on a trade you should get what you agreed on not something completely different

Jun 16Reply

faithoverfear07@missstephlee like she did me. It’s not the person here but this person is on Poshmark and sells a lot of stuff. And trades but she’s done at least 8 people that I know of wrong in trades. If you’d like to know I’ll tell you who it is but after I went through all this this person and two friends of hers has bullied me now for over a year it’s stopped for now but I expect it to start again. Something she did I get bullied over it. Good Luck hun 😘

Jun 16Reply

missstephleeUpdate: Got copy of Police report (pic added^^) for crime they’re charging Katie with! Will take months to get to through criminal court but I can, will and I AM starting a Civil Suit next. It’s a long journey but I’m someone who can follow this and will....and it’s worth it.

Jun 17Reply

missstephlee@Arieslette @Angie_cool @Rose_rain2909 @Chirps2004 @Tiffjsilver @chandlersgizmos @kgustafson (Katie Gustafson) does scams where she trades counterfeit/stolen goods for good stuff that she then sells/trades for profit. Her hometown police dep’t has charged her with a felony regarding my stolen items. Trades for cheaper stuff is prob fine but beware if any high-end designer items. She has a prior criminal record of theft as well.

Jun 18Reply

missstephlee@Arieslette @Angie_cool @Rose_rain2909 @Chirps2004 @Tiffjsilver @chandlersgizmos I hope you don’t want to do biz w/ a scammer like her but at very least be cautious in the type/value of items you purchase/send.

Jun 18Reply

chandlersgizmos@missstephlee I only really trade for makeup and I know a fake when I see one, thank you for telling us and warning us 😁

Jun 18Reply

kk0071Thank You so much for this post. If only there was a an easier way to share this on Posh, I’m sure it would help so Many. Peace & Love to you!

Jun 18Reply

angie_coolI really appreciate this! Thank you thank you!! She was in the middle of trying to trade with me. So thank you so much. If you know of any other scammers please please tag me! Thank you again so much

Jun 18Reply

cindyloo59That is terrible!! 😢 I am sorry this happened to you! Looks like She picked the wrong Lady to mess with!! 🤣🤣🤣 HAHA For Her! You Go Girl Bring the Thief Down! What kind of idiot is she? If I read it right The police report shows she is active Military? If so make sure her commanding officer knows the entire situation, There goes her entire military career Down the drain and she deserves it! Good luck on the outcome!!💕

Jun 18Reply

missstephlee@katbanzon @swissgirll @aclementenj1 @sisteradams FYI, The black Prada flats @kgustafson is selling are mine and she’s been charged with Larceny/fraud and anyone who buys them from Katie will inadvertently be dragged into the court proceedings as I’ll be filing civil charges when I return from vaca at end of summer as well as the criminal charges she already has presently.

Jul 08Reply

missstephleeAlso she lied on the listing as they do have a scuff on the front toe and I have pics I can send you to prove if needed.

Jul 08Reply

swissgirll@missstephlee That's crazy, thanks for telling us. Good luck!!!! What a way to go through life, scamming people. 🤨

Jul 08Reply

foundnfabulous@missstephlee I am well aware... it was your listing that brought it to my attention. I only liked her listing so I have a point of reference and bookmarking so I know to be on alert of her illegal practices... this type of business should not be tolerated by PM but then again they just care to make $$$ at whoever's expense regardless of seller's loss. I do hope you get the justice you deserve.

Jul 08Reply

werthetippitsGood, dont know who you are talking about but enough is enough of this scamming

Jul 15Reply

stanori808Hi Stephanie! Wow! I just read everything you posted and want to Thank You for this info. We all want to believe that everyone is upfront and honest in their dealings...we all know The Golden Rule...do unto others as you would have them do to you. It's really sad that there are people that don't play by the rules. It seems you've got everything covered and will get the justice you deserve. Hang in there! Have a wonderful week and Thank you for taking the time to take care of this!🍃💖🍃

Jul 15Reply

emboodie@my_satanic_porn can we please rally together and get posh to change and do something about these replicas!!! I got duped two times and it wasn’t from trading. Posh gave me the money back and mailed back the replica to the sender then the sender just reposted the replica item for someone else to buy ! And posh did is doing nothing after multiple videos I sent and messages

Jul 28Reply

missstephlee@my_satanic_porn I didn’t know fb had a stolen button. I’ll go try to report but she has me blocked on there too but I’ll find a way...Thx!!!!

Aug 01Reply

stitchlewis99@missstephlee can I have the closet name of this person that is scamming please?

Sep 16Reply

missstephlee@stitchlewis99 @kgustafson781

Sep 16Reply

stitchlewis99@missstephlee thank you 😊

Sep 16Reply

missstephleeUPDATE: her 1st court hearing is October 24th. If she no shows she’ll have a warrant. If she shows they could offer her a deal to pay me off at full price now or she can “pay back” with jail time.

Sep 25Reply

dunnfam18@missstephlee OMG. That is so refreshing to hear that justice does exist! Wow good luck!

Sep 27Reply

queen_lux08@adriane_p

Sep 28Reply

palmaceiamerch@missstephlee @jplola82 Woah. I have never traded with her. She has asked several time's but something just held me back. Then when I had a beware listing on the only person that ever scammed me stacymelton and her new closet she commented saying cop's just showed up at her house because of that posher and my listing. When I asked for more details because it made no sense and she never answered. Then another private message a month or more later in bundle saying I might need to show up in court

Sep 28Reply

palmaceiamerch@missstephlee @jplola82 ...I said for what? I asked her to elaborate. Not because I took her seriously. I suspected she was a connected scammer and thought those comments would work to get me to remove the beware listing.

Sep 28Reply

missstephlee@adriane_p That’s crazy! Cops did show up to her door but it was definitely from me. If she doesn’t make this right thru the criminal process I’m coming at her with a civil suit too which will be more expensive for her & she’ll easily lose there too...but giving her a last chance at her hearing to take a deal to pay me.

Sep 28Reply

palmaceiamerch@missstephlee Oh, I have no doubt. She took her reality & twisted it to me as if it was this scammer I outed that was causing her legal grief. I always suspected she was saying that as if I would remove the listing where I had a tag list of about 50 trader's on..

Sep 28Reply

palmaceiamerch@missstephlee I asked direct questions on the legalities she never replied. It just proved my initial suspicion she was trying to use a scare tactic to get me to delete the listing. I really believe it's a partnership. I'm so proud you took it all the way 👏

Sep 28Reply

missstephlee@adriane_p The more I learn about her the happier I am I followed thru. I didn’t do this lightly as I’m fully aware of the extreme consequences she’ll face (not her 1st theft conviction) & I tried to give her every chance to back down & do right, but I’ve no problem slinging all my legal/court expertise at the shady people out there ripping others off for their selfish personal gain. Glad you saw thru her.

Sep 28Reply

palmaceiamerch@missstephlee I'm glad too. At a certain point justice has to be served and she brought the consequences upon herself. 2 of my friends are lawyer's so believe me I have no issue's either doing that. In my case I had so many trader's seeing both her closets that no one would trade with her. I just always suspected this woman was connected to her

Sep 29Reply

missstephlee@catvan. Be sure to check Auth on LV scarf yourself as she’s a known scam artist. She gets some real stuff she trades crap for but a lot of the accessories she buys from China repeatedly (look how many cheap “new” Gucci headbands/hats she sells 🧐. She said she washed it and it’s dry clean only...she’s just saying what you want to hear. Be careful.

Oct 03Reply

missstephlee@haleyro1998 fyi, She’s not an honest person & has been convicted for theft before & currently her city is charging her for grand theft against me (ktgustaf781) ^^^

Oct 03Reply

missstephlee@acunnimgham0101 Fyi, she’s (kgustafson781) not an honest person (see my pics/comments^^) & is adding to her other prior theft convictions a grand theft currently being charged with. Lower $ items may be ok but she’ll scam you if she sees a way. Not worth the risk and people like that don’t deserve to be on here getting good stuff from people to mix in with her scams imo & hope you feel that way too 🙅‍♀️;)

Oct 03Reply

missstephlee@emilycadd @mnewman2 @barbzbabz @lmdc62 @zaynaat @andreamann91 Hoping after reading/seeing pics ^^ that kgustafson781 isn’t a posher you’d like to support. This isn’t her first theft charge either. She’s so shady even the police saw through her & put it in his report. Anyone ending up with her stolen items may get dragged into the court/evidence.

Oct 03Reply

emilycadd@missstephlee omg thank you so much I was thinking about trading with her but she wanted like my whole closet so I thought it was a bit weird!!!

Oct 03Reply

emilycadd@missstephlee we were legit about to trade and if you didn’t tag me I would have

Oct 03Reply

missstephlee@emilycadd I’m glad you saw this first. She’ll “forget” to add in things or trade fakes or hidden damaged stuff for good stuff & she always says the right thing but then just blocks you afterwards. I told the DA to give her 1 last option to pay me in a plea deal on the 24th. If she doesn’t

Oct 03Reply

emilycadd@missstephlee damn that’s crazy tho idk how people can lie so much I would feel horrible

Oct 03Reply

missstephleeI’m coming at her with more in a civil suit which a lot of times is worse bcz then she’ll have me fighting her instead of a DA & lots of fees, attys fees, etc. Thanks for not doing biz with her. As soon as I get the final court papers I’ll send into Posh to close her down & hopefully track gets IPs to ban for good.

Oct 03Reply

lmdc62Do you mind if I put this in my closet? I keep a list of scammers up in my closet. So very sad that the world is filled with so many of this kind 😢😢

Oct 03Reply

lmdc62OmGosh I think I know them through this site! Hi get them girl! 💜🙏🙏🙏💜👍

Oct 03Reply

missstephlee@lmdc62 Plz do! Thank you! 🙏 It blew my mind the lengths she went to and even made me send back her crappy purse so she could repost it (the purse & my shoes got reported and taken down now but she tried for awhile). Still smh at her/it all 🤦‍♀️🙄

Oct 03Reply

lmdc62@missstephlee I definitely will, thank you and that's from all of us who work hard to sell honestly to others. Everyone's story may be different as to why they are selling here but we do have one thing in common, support. We support each other every day and hold each other up when something like this slips through. Thank you for addressing this, Bless you and stay strong! 💜🙏💜

Oct 03Reply

missstephlee@sassy69 @helenahar @tdoll38 You may be interested in my post/pics ^^^^ I try to look every so often at her stuff & try to tag ppl before they buy from Kgustafson781 but I didn’t see yours in time :(

Oct 04Reply

missstephleeShe has me blocked so I can’t post on her items to warn others :/

Oct 04Reply

catvanThank you so much for the warning🙏 I truly appreciate you. How these idiots are still on here is maddening 🤬

Oct 05Reply

catvan@missstephlee does she have multiple closets ??? How is it that this thief is still on here?

Oct 06Reply

missstephlee@cyndinadine The tiara is broken. There’s supposed to be a headband that connects to the tiara part and that allows it to stay on but also swivel but that one is broken. Bobby-pins would have a hard time holding that up. Plz see above pics/comments for more info about her ^^

Oct 10Reply

cyndinadine@missstephlee Holy cow! Thank you for the warning. I’m sorry you had to go through this. Good luck with your court case. It’s sad that there are so many dishonest people in this world. :(

Oct 11Reply

miar68WOW. I'm new to Poshmark, so glad I read this. Keep make ok making her life hell! 😠 This is just SOOO wrong! Good luck to you sweetie

Oct 13Reply

kellyjosBeen there... All she will get is a judgement.... Can't get blood from a rock. That's why so many ppl. scam....

Oct 23Reply

missstephlee@kellyjos I got criminal charges filed against her by her DA’s office, so judgements just convictions. DA said they’ll offer her a plea deal to pay me or she gets what the judge gives her & this will be her 2nd robbery conviction so could be back to jail....I have high hopes that this will stick. Next I open the civil case & get my judgement & I have a bit of experience being a creditor from hell...it’s sport for me now ;)

Oct 23Reply

kellyjos@missstephlee and i have won many criminal cases and if they dont have item or $, they get a judgement... but hey.. lots of luck to you. ✌

Oct 23Reply

kellyjosNot saying she wont get jail but if she cant pay restitution , not much can be done.. jail does not guarantee you your item or $ sorry, sad but true ...

Oct 23Reply

nik_pik_thrift@missstephlee that's what we need! More people to follow through like you are!!! I'm proud of you!!

Oct 23Reply

happylife1014Thank you so much for sharing this! I don’t do trades and routinely block people whose comments sketch me out. So many wackos out there today! I reported fake Yeti product to Posh after the seller kept saying they were authentic and it was obviously not. They even kept telling posh in my complaint they were authentic!! I got refund but they are still selling them saying they are authentic. They use Yeti web site photos but thats not what they ship!! Why won’t posh shut them down??

Oct 24Reply

luxlovaSo..... The Devil really DOES wear Prada, apparently 🥿. Your stolen Prada, that is. This is terribly unfortunate and I sure do appreciate you posting this. Hopefully the cautionary tale here is DON’T ever trade or do off PM transactions with anyone for anything. That felon sold that bag again while disclosing the damage for $35. I am pretty sure I see a fake Chloe 💼 on there rn and her pic literally says “I trade” , lol.

Nov 09Reply

peacelove777this is why I never send first. people ask me to trade and I say you send first. once I've gotten the items then I'll send yours. if we trade back you can't to send mine first. it has to be this way. anyone that does it any other way is looking to be scammed and I guess learns the hard way ☹️

missstephleeUPDATE: Next court hearing date Dec 10, 2019. I’ll update after I get scoop from Scituate DAs office after that.

mollie92@missstephlee holy moly this is insaneeee girl!!! You are amazing for taking this chic head on!! I look forward to hearing good Justice news!!! Happy Holidays and Happy Poshing!! Good luck!!!

Nov 26Reply

1912cdhmaro@missstephlee something like this happen to me also but then the women claimed she gave the item away after I asked for her to send everything back and poshmark just settled it after I even requested it. this site can be super shady just a heads up. my items weren't worth much they were just kids clothing but just shows u how shady people are! I'm sorry this happened to you

Nov 26Reply

lbfitzgeraldI just found her! Her new closet name is Kt Gus!

Nov 28Reply

neena_nourDo what u have to do that bad she did that

Nov 28Reply

3dsmomI am hoping she will get removed from Poshmark. I had a similar experience but she shipped some junk out after police in her town visited her. People need to know it’s considered mail fraud and is a federal offense. Posh needs to back us as far as removing the scammers. Good luck.

Dec 03Reply

sfh21@missstephlee Thank you so much for sharing this. I'm sorry this happened to you. Thanks for sharing my item!

Dec 06Reply

raerosshell yeah!!! get whats yours!

Dec 14Reply

myhaileyI really hope you get justice

Dec 15Reply

lmdc62 Keep up the fight! I admire your determination 💟 Unfortunately this has happened to many of us. My disabilities unfortunately don't allow me to have the strength to pursue these horrible people but know that not just myself but thousands of other Poshers are behind you and sending you all good vibes, prayers and support 💟

Dec 15Reply

vett241I feel bad and understand what you're saying but did you ask her if there was any damage to the bag?? As soon as I saw the scarf covering the hanzo that was a red flag I would have asked questions

Dec 15Reply

missstephlee@vett241 Putting scarves on purses is a “thing” & I was naive to not think someone would use it as a deceitful tactic. I defiantly learned and understand the lengths people go to to lie for their own benefit now and ask questions. A person should be able to assume all parties are acting on good faith in a win/win situation. It’s very sad that there are a few rotten apples out there.

Dec 15Reply

glitteranddustWow!! I love that u actually followed thru on pressing charges ! I’ve always seen ppl threatened to do it but then do nothing . You’re setting an awesome standard for other poshers !

batoul24@missstephlee reading all these has my blood boiling because I do a lot of trades and it ruins it for the good ppl. I leave reviews from ppl all throughout my page so the person trading with me feels secure and confident. She’s a low life.

Jan 05Reply

laraswardrobe@frock_n_fashion What a bunch of s*** they should ban her and her IP address indefinitely. This is legit fraud. Thanks for posting so we know!

Jan 06Reply

missstephlee@laraswardrobe I reported it/her but they don’t look at it at all since a trade & they don’t want to get in the middle. That’s what the PD said too & when the case is done I was thinking of asking they give me that recommendation in writing & forward that & the guilty/settlement charge to Posh again.

Jan 06Reply

laraswardrobe@missstephlee having worked in marketing for over 5 years I highly suggest blowing it up via twitter. Sometimes you have to shame them. I hope she does eventually get fully banned. People like her make me mad!

Jan 06Reply

missstephlee@laraswardrobe Did cross my mind but then I saw her twitter account she has listed was terminated by twitter for not following rules so I don’t think she’s on there now. She did post my shoes for sale on her facebook and I shared that post to mine with comment on the situation but she just blocked me.

Jan 06Reply

laraswardrobe@missstephlee She sounds so horrible

Jan 06Reply

shanaandy3944what a nightmare! I wish Poshmark would do something more than they do.

Jan 07Reply

maggieinthemoonThank you for sharing this story & helping promote justice. There are too many ruthless heartless people in this world and thankfully I've found most people both sellers and buyers to be great kind people on Poshmark but you'll always encounter some bad apples. Stay strong and sending you love & light!

Jan 08Reply

kimikins1000OMGOODNESS, I was sending this to Thank you for visiting my closet and sharing. Its appreciated and will be reciprocated. I'm new to listing and I'm learning as I go. I'm SO Sorry that all this happened to you, and I commend you for doing the right thing and prosecuting her. Also for informing your fellow Poshers! Saying Prayers that the Justice System works for you. Let Karma deal with her and keep your Positivety. Thanks again for the share, Blessings ♡

Jan 08Reply

irishblond94Hey is this because of a trade? Just curious because I thought we were protected on this site. People ask all the time if I can trade but I never have, but thought sometimes it would be great, but now I’m thinking absolutely not...

Jan 13Reply

missstephlee@irishblond94 Yeah, a trade which is why posh won’t touch it (although they technically allow trades, it’s at your own risk). She’s a really rotten apple tho & shady. It takes balls to send what she did. I’ve met several poshers I would trade with if I found something I wanted. Be very cautious but don’t totally write off trading. Film anything of higher value you mail too.

Jan 13Reply

irishblond94@missstephlee that so called Jimmy Choo bag is absolutely disgusting, Goodwill wouldn’t even keep that and sell it. I’m so sorry you have to go through this, keeping my fingers crossed for things to work out in your favor.

Jan 13Reply

laraswardrobe@missstephlee Dude a girl I know on here is going through the same crap!! I am going to send this because it is also a high end product she got screwed out of (or so it seems)

Jan 14Reply

ergochloesHey, I just read some of your posts, I've heard horror stories but this tops most...you've put a Lot of time & energy into this, plus a lots more, I hope it's close to being resolved. I checked out her closet and there are some unhappy people in her comment section. thanks for persevering 👍🦋

Jan 28Reply

theas_loftI came across this post because you just shared some of my items; I looked in your closet and came across this - she's the next town over from me!!! The court is a 15 minute drive away. This totally upsets me - why do people do these things? I found her Posh site, and it now says that she is from "Los Angeles" - people think that they are all anonymous, so some steal, but it is so super easy to find anyone now. I just know that you will prevail!

Jan 29Reply

ceberhardt@missstephlee someone on instagram sells damaged goods as well! has scammed many buyers out $60 for air force ones that are peeling. people can’t keep getting away with mail fraud! thank you for reporting this!!!

Jan 29Reply

cheeringsquads@missstephlee thanks for sharing. What is Poshmark doing to prevent this from continuing and stop it entirely on this platform?

cigi70Omg! How awful!! I have been debating about keeping my account because of some bad experiences recently, not trades, but other things and even with proof Posh did not protect me as a buyer. Not happy. And seeing so many things like the scams that continue is making me crazy!!! What is wrong with people!?!?! I hope you nail her for everything!!! Good luck and thank you for the warning! I know I have seen her name come up before. Ugh! 😡

Feb 16Reply

i2luvu@cigi70 Catplant90 from Arizona is currently trying to scam me out of my Gucci glasses. it's still pending at this time with poshmark as they investigate. Good Luck with that.

Feb 16Reply

fyestylejunkyI was scammed as well. Buyer said my coach purse was fake, which it was not. She bought three items in a bundle, and filed a claim for a full refund. Which I promptly agree to because I don’t want anyone unhappy with my items. She returned nothing. It was an empty package of paper. Posh refunded her money. So she had my items and my money. Posh refunded my money but that wasn’t good enough for me. WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE SO THESE THINGS.

pinkpoppy@missstephlee hi! First of all - go you!! Second of all - can you please confirm the scammers posh closet username so I / we can block her 💛💛💛 thanks in advance!

Feb 18Reply

fyestylejunkyUpdate: my items were resold by her AND she used my pictures to list the items. cc_h is her Posh name.

Feb 18Reply

mountieswonHi! I was wondering if you were in the same state as your trader. I traded with someone that didn't send me what they were suppose to send, and they were also to send $$$ for shipping. I was wondering what you had to do for your case? My trade was for $5K.

Feb 18Reply

fyestylejunky@fccandles cc_h and she has resold my Coach purse as NWOT which is completely false. It was used. And she resold stealing my original photos.

Feb 18Reply

fccandles@fyestylejunky omg! Did you show that to posh? I’d make her life hell ...

Feb 18Reply

missstephlee@samiamatha Kgustafson781 is the posher this post is about. The 2nd pic is of 1 of my Prada shoes she had listed for sale in her closet for awhile with her closet name too. She does mostly Trades & just scams when she sees an opportunity.

Feb 18Reply

pinkpoppyGreat blocked her thanks for the warning love sorry this happened to you 😣

Feb 18Reply

missstephlee@mountieswon No, I had to file with my local PD as police have to verify ID the victim. Then I contacted her states PD & submitted my PDs statement with a complaint & they went to her house. After that they filed Criminal charges against her & I’m just a victim/witness in the MA (her state) criminal case now.

Feb 18Reply

missstephlee@mountieswon I can email you my original statement I wrote for my PD if that helps you as the police didn’t understand the illegal mail fraud part the first 2 times I went in & turned me away saying it’s just a dispute (it’s not, it’s Grand Larceny Under False Pretenses) but 3rd time went in with my Atty hubs help & got it done with some keywords added.

Feb 18Reply

fccandles@missstephlee thank you for that. Good for you and these girls need to know this isn’t a game...@fyestylejunky you need to make people aware as well. This is a scam as well . She’s an AMBASSADOR for Gods Sake! Whatever that means anymore. Posh has just lost their sense

Feb 18Reply

luxdesignvault@mjohnson0344 this girl followed through!

Feb 18Reply

fashionlove1976Good I hope the thief gets what they deserve

Feb 18Reply

fyestylejunky@fccandles Exactly! And when she was disputing the authenticity of my bag, she threw in how she’s an ambassador and it’s her job to call out people like me for selling unauthentic items. I’m an ambassador as well... which made me laugh. She was utterly nasty in her comments on the case... she is just a terrible human being.

Feb 18Reply

Feb 18Reply

i2luvu@cigi70 I submitted this address to Poshmark 15 Boulden Cir Fishisfast New Castle, De and one order went through but Poshmark canceled the other 2 because they need to verify method of payment and shipping address. The orders were canceled after I shipped the items this morning but I was able to retrieve my packages from USPS before the packages left their facility.

Feb 18Reply

mjohnson0344@consigningsis I send her a message to see exactly which steps she took.

Feb 18Reply

cigi70@i2luvu I am so glad you were able to retrieve your packages!!!

Feb 18Reply

carmensayshello@missstephlee Trading is not allowed on POSHMARK. Did they allow her to stay on this platform?

Feb 18Reply

carmensayshello@frock_n_fashion Everyone should demand POSHMARK ban her on this platform.

Feb 18Reply

carmensayshello@lmiller67 Why are poshers, getting involved in trades when it is clearly against posh policy?

Feb 18Reply

samantharemy@missstephlee Hi how are you? I am really impressed that you were able to do this. I wanted to know if you could message me about how you went about it and was it Hoerbelt local police department that helped you? Or your own? Thank you

Feb 18Reply

i2luvu@cigi70 So am I.

Feb 18Reply

missstephlee@carmensayshello They aren’t really against it so much as they just aren’t prepared to guarantee it...At your own risk. PM states, "Trading is allowed on Poshmark. However, our Posh Protect policy does not cover trades within the system and the buyer must pay the standard shipping fee for such trades.”

Feb 19Reply

missstephlee@samantharemy You have to do both. Your local PD takes your statement & certifies you are who you say you are. Then you contact her local PD to advise them you want to submit your statement as the victim of a crime.

Feb 19Reply

missstephlee@mjohnson0344 see the post I just wrote ^. The other thing that is going to help you be successful is you have to look up the law in her state that covers the type of crime it was. They’re prob all pretty similar but felony/misdemeanor amounts vary state to state. MA was $250 for mine.

Feb 19Reply

missstephleeI’ll try to add my official complaint soon so you can see how I worded it but I’ve got class tomorrow so might take me a couple days.

Feb 21Reply

cleosclozetThank you for this information and sorry you have had to waste time on this problem. I hope ALL POSHERS have learned from her experience and to follow Posh Procedures And RULES so we won't have this happen to US.

Mar 02Reply

jfrost75@adriane_p sorry I was reading thru this thread and saw you were scammed by Stacy? I am glad I did not trade with her. She ended up buying one of my items and then after she paid she cried and moaned about not seeing the issues with the cheap($8.00) purse I was selling and demanded a refund and for me to not ship after the fact she's a joke!

Mar 22Reply

palmaceiamerch@jfrost75 Yeah, she's a real treat. Sorry, you had to deal with that 😕

Mar 22Reply

june_cleaver@missstephlee Hi just reading about your experience with the scammer. I just had a similar experience being sold a fake Dooney from a Posh "ambassador" she shut down her closet for vacation temporarily and I made a written complaint to poshmark. does the site really allow scammers to remain doing business? I did not pay a lot but to me it's the principle. She could be ripping off a lot of people not just me.

Mar 23Reply

darpoodle224What a shame. I feel bad that you have to deal with this. Good for you for taking it all the way!

Mar 25Reply

bunnydrmz66Update please. I almost traded today. Whew. Thank you so much for this information 💞

Mar 25Reply

missstephlee@paradise1515 You tried to defraud the wrong person. I took video opening your pkg in front of a Federal Attorney whose testimony is seen as Fact in a court. Ask Katie how her multiple court dates have been going this past year for her. You should want to make this right.

Apr 04Reply

laurazaharakol hate scammers but do wanna warn you it looks like you have either her or your home address in 1 of those pics. May want to black that part out

Apr 05Reply

missstephlee@laurazaharako thx, just fixed.

Apr 05Reply

lilpricey03So sorry to hear about this :(

Apr 05Reply

palmaceiamerch@missstephlee You know what's even more disturbing? That Moissanite ring you sold for $500 as a Charles & Colvard that's not. In comments you wrote side Stone's natural diamond's even I can spot as CZ's set in a 925 non C&C setting that is an exact match to several ring's one person has made and sold multiple of on other platforms! You even listed the same exact one for sale now but without a C&C cert. & warranty card with a serial number...

Apr 15Reply

palmaceiamerch@missstephlee Which anyone with real jewelry knowledge knows there's no way to match serial numbers on C&C to that stone! That poor buyer. Maybe you need to have your federal attorney look at that. @pm @poshmark Please look into this. It passed authentication and she's creating these listing's

Apr 15Reply

missstephlee@adriane_p that’s not true. I buy from a gem appraiser that other Poshers on here know personally. He uses the same mass produced setting for a lot of his rings that are preset with the real lab created diamonds. He bought some C&C from an estate sale (he appeases a lot of those as a living). He also set some with regular stones. I bought multiple when I was researching what ring I wanted to replace my old ring & the C&C was going to be mine personally but I changed my mind & selling both.

Apr 15Reply

missstephlee@adriane_p I’m happy to show Posh the jeweler who made/appraised them as well as his licensed back appraisal.

Apr 15Reply

palmaceiamerch@missstephlee You might want to because your right in that other seller's buy from that same source. Even saw the sold listing in which they claim he was furious to see your sold listing. Had his other client reach out to the buyer of that ring to tell her the truth. So, something does not add up here

Apr 15Reply

missstephlee@adriane_p Furthermore here’s C&C’s website stating that they inscribe their stones. Inscribing gems in their girdle is widely known. GIA is a perfect example of doing that. https://www.charlesandcolvard.com/blog/post/understand-how-to-identify-and-value-moissanite

Apr 15Reply

palmaceiamerch@missstephlee I saw you also stated your in training as a jeweler/in classes so you might want to clarify because my family are jewellers and this is an easy spot for me. Best of luck

Apr 15Reply

missstephlee@adriane_p Which anyone with even Limited jewelry knowledge knows. I’ve also taking jewelry making classes at the college here so I’ve got a teeny amount of knowledge of jewelry making. I’m assuming you have more official class training than I since you tried to attack me on my closet but must’ve failed since you’ve shown you clearly know below average about it.

Apr 15Reply

missstephlee@adriane_p Plz refrain yourself from commenting on my page anymore with your nonsense and I’ll do the same for you. Having to resort to Blocking just shows a lack of adultness I think we don’t need to go too but obviously will do if you can’t manage yourself. TIA

Apr 15Reply

missstephlee@adriane_p I used his pictures in the listing as they showed off his stones/setting nicely and as soon as I knew from her that he felt that way I contacted him to apologize and let him know I took them down to replace with my own. I had not thought one would mind and was wrong and did what I could to make amends. I’ve bought two bundles of rings from him as I like to buy in bulk when I can and as I said I’ve been shopping for a new ring design to replace one I no longer have.

Apr 15Reply

missstephleeMy ring buyers have given me 5 stars and even have gone through Posh authentication to be verified as real/as stated.

Apr 15Reply

missstephleeI just went & took 100x mag pics w/ my microscope of the serial #s on the girdle the rest of my Moissanite gems and have them listed in my closet to prove for anyone wanting to check them. If the girl above had asked any questions before posting I would’ve provided this info to her as well.

Jul 23Reply

missstephlee@elenaruiz50 Thanks. No it’s just in the legal system now which takes months and months (over a year now) as court dates always get pushed & Covid lockdown in March happened 2 weeks before the last scheduled date. I just left a message with Scituate DA’s office & hopefully hear back soon.

sjanedianaHi Steph . I’m Stef . Thank you so much for sharing my listings . Hey Mt sure when you got scammed , I’m so sorry that you had to deal with time and stress over a Freakin psychopath. But not surprised . There’s thousands of people in here . From all over the ones with accounts no product . I have had to block two different men for the obvious attempt to scam me . . One was trying to sweet talk me first the other sent me 15 msgs in15 minutes just yesterday . Blocked and reported them

Jul 25Reply

I set my prices low my items are all unused . Sold her 80$ jeans for 12$ . She sent me a message that I scammed her and she hit dirty pants . She was reporting me . I says go ahead and I blocked her a d reported her . Posh backed me up . And you have fabulous items great taste.. IGood job /and again great taste !! Stef

terrythemom@missstephlee Stephanie- Good Greif! I popped in to re-share from your closet and find this! Hang in there! Be strong! Stay true! Best tip I ever got was to video every outgoing shipment- I never thought I would need to also video the incomings

Jul 28Reply

terrythemombut I have had several I have needed to photo-document. I myself was scammed by a “new posher” who insisted she didn’t receive a rather large shipment, in which I had included a very high end pair of new costume earrings as a gift... she even admitted that the address I shipped to was an “ old address.”...

Jul 28Reply

terrythemomI had to squabble with Posh after they redacted my payment but since I had mailed to the address they gave me and had US PS confirmation of delivery at that address, and video proof of all contents as ordered in good condition I did eventually receive my money from posh – – not from the spammer I’m sure she eventually got to pick up her package as it was never returned — mighty suspicious— she also blocked me!!!

Jul 28Reply

missstephlee@terrythemom Ugh, sucks you had to prove yourself 30 ways over but glad you didn’t end up eating the $ too. I video Outgoing as well now, any incoming worth more than a couple bucks & any returns. Totally sucks but I just try to remind myself that the majority of Poshers are just normal nice people.

Jul 29Reply

gmnickles@missstephlee I’m just reading this for the first time. I checked out her closet and she’s claims to be a posh ambassador!

Aug 14Reply

gmnicklesIt’s so sad that dishonest people ruin things for the rest of us! 😞

Aug 14Reply

missstephlee❗️Update❗️ Her trial (judge only/non-jury) is Tues, Nov 24, 2020 (next week) and I’m a witness (victim witness). I was going to fly there but they’re allowing me to zoom in (my hubs does almost all his court appearances on zoom for a few years now). I was asked if I’d take payment & allow dismissal & I refused bcz that does nothing to keep Posh safer if she’s just allowed to stay & continue scamming.

Nov 20Reply

sjanediana@missstephlee S—t.. well there not only one of her kind out there . . I’ve run into some attempts . But I report them immediately to Posh . I block them but a posh should have a Banned list of some kind . But maybe it’s a Confidentiality thing . Sorry you had to take time out of your life with someone who disrupted it , played you , got caught . But they are a psychopath because she’s still scamming . She doesn’t care .. sad and disturbing

missstephleeUPDATE: Court was rescheduled for June 28th due to flying cross country during TDay week, with Covid spikes & crowded holiday travel this week, judge thought it better to wait and let me travel at (hopefully) a safer tome. So summer in MA 2021!

missstephlee@bknbnm I wouldn’t do that amount with her at all. No, she’s in MA. I tracked her down with a general public background check & that’s how I found out she had a conviction for theft already so this is more a lifestyle. The cops went to her house & talked with her & left seeing her for the liar she is. She admitted she owed me & didn’t deny it. She doesn’t have a set scam but just puts in fakes & crap trash like that purse above & then you’re stuck.

Nov 29Reply

missstephlee@bknbnm Not all her trades give her the opportunity to scam tho but if she sees any chance she’ll take it. She also deletes the individual listing afterwards as well w/o you only have a tiny screenshot all in 1 pic so no specific info to counter pics wise.

Nov 29Reply

missstephlee@bknbnm She relisted the above purse again after she made me “mail back first” (like I wanted to keep that POS 🙄) WITHOUT listing any of the damage AGAIN! Just same pics with hidden damage that she 100% knew of. I mean who does that?! Try the same scam as I’m threatening to make a criminal complaint. She just underestimated me 🤷‍♀️

Nov 29Reply

missstephlee@bknbnm So she’s lived the past 1.5+ years with multiple court dates, etc. Last Tuesday’s was postponed last minute 2 hours before our scheduled appearance. It’s an added worry for her in her life, especially since it’s a Felony in her state. Good luck & Be beyond careful or not at all! 🍀

Nov 29Reply

beacher39@missstephlee I was confused about how it went but makes total sense now the way u explained it. Wow! I just can’t imagine sending somebody something different than what they truly think they’re getting and paid for. That’s horrible and I’m sorry it’s very frustrating. It is good for everyone to share so that people are aware of all possibilities.

Nov 30Reply

missstephlee@sharonblood our next court date is June 28th. But the cop even stated in his report she was lying. She has a prior convictions of theft. And the pics above speak to “what really happened”.

Dec 31Reply

sharonbloodEveryone go to the top of this page and share to your followers. ( the three little dots)

Dec 31Reply

missstephlee@sharonblood She’s gaining to tell you a made up story blaming me somehow but look at the evidence above. This isn’t ME suing her, it’s HER DA’s office charging her with a crime bcz the evidence shows the crime.

Dec 31Reply

sharonblood@missstephlee I have been sitting here mesmerized by this story!! Wow!! Poshmark needs to police this better. I do some free work for them that people report I’m sure we could get some gals to find and remove scammers for free too. We are a smart bunch of women on here!! Poshmark is getting SO big, they need to get techy also and stop this!!That is why others go to the M site. They have better authentication. Good luck.

Dec 31Reply

missstephlee@sharonblood Thanks! Yes, I was astounded when I got the purse. And then she listed it exact same when she hit it back until I busted her on it & she eventually sold it for $35 without showing the damage but at least disclosing there was damage underneath the scarf. Just blown away at the audacity she had!

Jan 01Reply

missstephlee@sharonblood They recently asked if I wanted them to accept a plea deal so they drop charges if she paid me. I told them no, I wanted her held accountable on record or forced to close posh account or admit in writing to no more scams. I gave her so many times to pay it & make right. She thought she could just block me & keep on. Wrong gal this time with me tho. I’m a beast to get through when I put my mind to something & she’s so in the wrong w/ this.

Jan 01Reply

missstephlee@sharonblood if you ever find a way to report scammers. Areshna7 is selling “ lab created diamonds” that aren’t diamonds/lab created diamonds. They’re cheap crystals w/ diamond dust adhered to outside so it tests as diamond. Weigh it & the carats would be off tho 😒. Never going to find a 5ct diamond -lab created even- for $100, it would be $15,000! And they word stuff listings which is just more shady liar/cheater type. No way to tell those details when hitting the report button tho 🤷‍♀️

Jan 01Reply

b1ofakindafter reading your commentary I decided to block the seller you had issues with. shortly thereafter I received a follower from another kate could be a coincidence but offensive regardless. it came from @kaitynnsjogrenn

Jan 01Reply

sharonblood@b1ofakind What so we have, a gang of “mean girls” on here? Grow up, ya know!!

Jan 01Reply

b1ofakind@sharonblood I don't follow your train of thought I'm quite grown and had received an offensive impromptu visual after blocking the seller who scammed this lady who has pressed charges. it's called awareness of your surroundings no intention of being mean

Jan 01Reply

sharonblood@b1ofakind whoa, you took me way out of context. I was talking about the “other Kate”. I went to her page and saw her flipping off pic. I was speaking of these “ women” on here bullying others. I apologize you took that totally the wrong way...

Jan 01Reply

sharonblood@b1ofakind Hey Mimi, happy new year 🎆🎊🎈 we are on the same side...

Jan 01Reply

b1ofakind@sharonblood thank you for clarifying it for me, words without expression context are often confusing, at least for me 😁. hoping for a more promising year for us all. Happy new year 🎉

Jan 01Reply

rhodanotti@frock_n_fashion what an outrage to let her stay!

Apr 06Reply

missstephlee@megmbarry She’s had court and lawyers since this started. I’m just the victim witness, no skin off my back. She’ll have fines and community service plus pay me FULL PRICE or go to jail if she can’t/doesn’t pay. Not to mention I’ve business contacts that stretch & ive influenced a Real Estate lady who ripped & returned/fraud loss of at least 3 deals in the past year. Let’s work this out fairly & you don’t steal one of my gems.

Apr 09Reply

missstephlee@shawna_barrett Here’s the back story if your bored. Not sharing for any reason other than history of Katie.

May 11Reply

missstephleeCriminal case dismissed by new ADA today, which I knew was highly probable since I declined payment. Next step of Civil court which is where these always land, but court records paper trail are there for any future cases/fruds/thefts which is what I wanted. Civil court will take a long while too.

May 13Reply

buttercup555@missstephlee 🙏🙏🙏🙏🤗

May 13Reply

packleader3Thanks for sharing this info~ I’m so sorry you have to go through all of this!! It’s disgraceful ~Posh needs to step up in these cases?I didn’t read all the comments~ Anyway ~ Kudos to you for seeing this through~ sending good vibes!!! 💕❤️👍

May 13Reply

apesoup21I live in mass an now where in the hingham court house is I live out in the country now but from So Boston right next to Quincy 🤷🏻‍♀️👍

May 13Reply

apesoup21@missstephlee I am here in mass as posh just keeps letting them scam 😡 anything I can do I am April sorry u r going though all this 😡

May 13Reply

calidreamin101@missstephlee on man, I remember this from time it was happening. I thought she would get petty larceny added. is this because of overcrowded jails or what now they just let everything small go til they get bigger scams? in the end this has been I hope cathartic for YOU.

May 14Reply

calidreamin101@missstephlee A lot of what we think will happen with law falls short. And falls heavier on undeserving. You can't squeeze blood form a turnip but u need less to win in civil court. I feel you almost have a Netflix Original here. You rock! Michelle

May 14Reply

calidreamin101@catherine01666 Hey Catherine just tagging you here becuz she updated and I remember when it was happening. something similar happened to you I read and so here you go. @poshmarkadmin should have a list of scammers and have software that detects its them again and block them. it exists.

May 14Reply

catherine01666@peeshy101 yesss this is great!! Very much needed 🙏🏻

May 14Reply

dominicanlovee@missstephlee any updates on this? I'm rooting for you.

Nov 04Reply

missstephlee@dominicanlovee They got a new DA in & he dismissed it. Too small of potatoes for him I guess 🤷‍♀️ I have a yr or so to file in civil court if I wanted next but I haven’t put any time towards it. She seems to have a pretty crappy life/no good relationships so I figure she lives in her own karma.

Nov 04Reply

apesoup21I am from South Boston I live out in the country now but all my sisters live in Quincy and that is where she lives Squantum is very nice town on the water in Quincy so I don’t think she even cares that she keeps scamming us on here well not me but same difference so sorry I guess u should have taken the plea 🤷🏻‍♀️👮🏻

Nov 04Reply

missstephlee@apesoup21 Nah, it was never about the $ for me so no regrets about not taking the plea. It’s just a legal bribe to get me to walk away & that’s not how I make decisions in life 😉🙃 Even if I had needed/wanted the money, I would’ve had to take her back to court to collect as she wasn’t going to pay me willingly so I didn’t miss out. I’m okay with how far I got. :)

Nov 04Reply

designingdeb@missstephlee Hi! I sell jewelry as well and been in this business since the 1980’s. I can spot the fakes and what I’ve done that has helped stop quite a few is go through the closet and report 10. And I like some so I can see if they discount and then I go again. I report sales too as that is A SALE that’s fraudulent. Posh also sends me items reported as misrepresentation and then they go after them

Jan 30Reply

designingdeb@missstephlee people in the jewelry business are hurt by scammers. I realize this is about trades but there are many ways good people are damaged. Since Posh was bought out many changes are just pushing our net income down. I’m a tax accountant too, I work the numbers and a discount from beginning at 20% with PM costs is getting close to 50%. Constant ‘drop prices for sales’ is stupid from go. Checked people I saw listed—no items for sale.

Jan 30Reply

missstephlee@designingdeb That’s a good strategy of hitting a bunch at once that I’m going to adopt. Thanks for the tip! 🙂

Jan 30Reply

designingdeb@missstephlee I agree. Your favorite place-China-will sell those items for $2.50-$5. I see those items listed constantly selling for $100’s of dollars. You’re running a great business and providing great education. I’m a research queen and bff is a diamond broker. The diamond business is going through huge changes. Moissanite is now a go to stone. Please forward offenders. I enjoy scammers. I did locate and 5 were arrested by secret service, arrested and serving time in federal prison.

Jan 30Reply

missstephlee@designingdeb I don’t do mass offers on my jewelry for that reason. I would have to mark it up so high to start which in my opinion chases off potential jewelry buyers from first glance so I try to keep it fairly low at my set price. There’s one seller on here that lists “lab created diamonds” but it’s a crystal with diamond dust plated on it. 5ct lab created diamond for $105 & such🤦‍♀️ I used to have an educational warning up but PM made me take it down for harassment so I gave up for a bit.

Jan 30Reply

missstephlee@designingdeb That’s great! Areshna7 is the one selling “lab created diamonds” for $100 or there abouts that reported my listing calling them out as harassment. It pains me to see them sell their jewelry as a real diamond but I just gave up. You’ve renewed hope in me though🙂

Jan 30Reply

designingdeb@missstephlee you have gorgeous items. I do well with creating combinations to get multiple use out of guards etc to use with existing rings. You have some items that would work well and you’ve kept prices great. I’m glad I found you and hope we can do some business! I have a sizable collection of gemstones that I wanted to set. But I made a couple of bracelets set with rubies I’d love to talk to you about.

Jan 30Reply

designingdeb@missstephlee see comment https://posh.mk/hNKQnoKjfnb I have a large Swarovski collection of antique and contemporary in addition to jewelry items. Posh had a big push against this a few months ago. I’m writing pm

Jan 30Reply

designingdebDone

Jan 30Reply

designingdeb@missstephlee done.

Jan 30Reply

missstephlee@designingdeb I love talking jewelry anytime😁🤓

Jan 30Reply

missstephlee@designingdeb Did you leave a comment on the listing? If so it’s removed. They mark comments they don’t like as harassment so it automatically gets removed. I hope posh will do something🤞

Jan 30Reply

designingdeb@missstephlee I just followed up with what I indicated I do in general. When any closet operates in significant violation or engages in gouging consumers that is against Poshmark guidelines. I was blocked when I requested proof of Swarovski items such as blue boxes etc in comments on several items. Swarovski is very protective of their brand. It’s part of proof of authenticity. It was followed up with Poshmark. Also no hallmark for metal.

Jan 31Reply

designingdeb@missstephlee As I said I use Swarovski a lot in custom items I make and, since I buy the crystals and peals and create the designs, they will not have those items. So for awhile it was an issue. Daniel Swarovski was very protective of his recipe and until his death only he knew one specific ingredient, as you well understand. Now that they make jewelry they seem to be expanding the reach.
