lavenderlove3 @rstewartist Hi there 😊, yes part of the bottoms are leather, however the actual part of the shoe that touches the ground is covered with an excellent cushioned rubber like material that prevents the bottom from being slippery! It also gives a little bounce to your step. You can see in the pic that the leather part is only the part of the sole that doesnt touch the ground. Let me know if u hav more questions! 💜

lavenderlove3 @rstewartist Oh the footbed! (or insole) The inside of the shoe says "leather lining & sock" and "balance manmade" (jus depends if they define the insole as part of the lining and sock or part of the balance, which I couldn't find a clear answer to, sorry I tried online for u!) I personally believe it may be leather, it does visually appear that way. The footbed resembles the material of the rest of the shoe, but is lightly cushioned and secured in place.🌷🌷🌷
