liledeglace@dchillas you're a lawyer though! Shouldn't they should look into sueing the attendings who treated her first rather than sueing you, the best friend, of all people? Very logicless of them. Did you help her with her will? I'm glad you talked to her in her last days so you know best how she wanted her body to be used/buried/etc.

liledeglaceI mentioned indygogo bc it's a great crowdfunding source for cancer patients, victims of bullying, etc. I'm sorry your act of service did not work out in your favor this time. I wish her relatives were being less tacky. I would've kept all the receipts from over the past months, if they actually owe you money. indygogo is a great way to raise money for a specific cause, but it sounds like it's a bit too late for that, in her situation😔

liledeglace@dchillas haha, no, you're doing great. I remember one summer I was subletting from a poly sci professor and she welcomed us to her bathroom (she was a big fan of this brand). unfortunately, by the time I walked down to our local Crabtree Evelyn store, they had already discontinued some of the old scents that she loved, the la source series she was a fan of and I never went back to another one because while the name is cute&memorable, the stores are few and far in between.

liledeglaceI'm a very last minute shopper, so I will share for you in case you are able to get a quicker sale 😉 I hope your friend is tolerating the pancreatic cancer meds. I was in cancer research for a while and I lost my uncle to it years back😔 they weren't sure if it was panc or liver but he was very sickly, even in his 30s. I think some people have this tendency where they just work themselves to death, but you two are in my prayers 💞

liledeglace@dchillas that's so heartbreaking 😥! how old was she? Does she have any kin close by as they plan the funeral in the coming weeks?

Nov 21Reply

dchillas@liledeglace she died a month ago distant relatives that have come out of the past out of the woodwork’s she never had children and now they are contesting her estate and I’ve been told I’m getting absolutely nothing and I took care of her 24 hours a day for about 12 months and some nieces and nephews have now taking me to court it’s a nightmare
