thriftiquela @abriggs7136 hi, yes the slit is only on the right side. However, it can be easily sewn up and closed if you wish. This is sheer though, so I’m not sure how much it will shield you from the sun. Hope that helps! 😊 (I also have a white lace cover up on my listings that opens from the front if you’re interested.)
