labelmeposh Hi! I just came from another pic (I can't find now) where a person asked was the ruby earth mined and you stated "yes" and you mentioned the lead content and stated it would be much higher if it weren't. I'm now confused because I thought that a "real" ruby vs a lab created one is the fact that a "real" one is earth mined. I'd like a real one which is why I'm asking.

rngjewelry @labelmeposh You misunderstood the comment about "lead". I treatment that is done on earth mined rubies to improve their quality is called lead glass filled. The rubies with this treatment are not nearly as expensive as ones without.
