100 fresh Dutchman's Pipevine FRESH seeds from my garden here in south Florida. Beautiful large flowers, perfect for a butterfly garden. Polydamas Swallowtail butterflies lay their eggs on this vine as it's a host plant for their caterpillars. Hearty, easy keeping vine, and once it gets going, it's a fast grower. Seeds can take up to 3 months to germinate. It helps to soak them first. Great for a trellis or fence - the unique flowers are always a conversation starter

thekitschkitty @tokidokitiger Hi! They are a perennial best suited for zones 8-12. If you don't know what zone you're in, let me know about where you live and I can look it up for you :-).

thekitschkitty I looked, and I can't find anything about this variety up where you are or if it would grow. However, I did find a variety of dutchman's pipevine (has smaller flowers that look a bit different) that looks like it would grow well where you are http://gardeninghours.com/2019/02/13/dutchmans-pipe-plant-care-how-to-grow-aristolochia-macrophylla-vine/.

thekitschkitty @slyani It looks like the vast majority of California is 8-11, so you should be good. If you Google "USDA California Planting Zones" it will pop up. Wish I could just out a pic here but it doesn't allow me to:-/.

illtakethat2day I am in zone 4 and on the edge of 5. I have grown this same beautiful vine in a pot on my patio. I'm sure you could also put it in the ground when it gets warmer. It will only be an annual here but very well worth the show of blooms!!
