designingdeb So you pit to pit measurement is from shoulder strap to strap? Just trying to see if it would fit a larger size. On the model, who probably has a smaller bust than you, it falls further down her arm than it does on you. So maybe we need the flat measurement across the entire top? And from shoulder strap to arm edge?

trendsetterdiva @designingdeb The pit to pit measurement is from arm pit to armpit laying flat and across. I did not measure from shoulder strap. The shoulder straps are also adjustable so can make shirt fall lower or shorter if needed.

designingdeb @trendsetterdiva I grew up sewing and worked for a fabric store so I get that. How’re it’s one dimensional and it depends on what you measured. If it was the entire width that includes the arms, that is different than if you measured to the straps. That won’t include the width of the body. Measurements including the arms will tell someone what to measure..they need to measure with the arms.

trendsetterdiva @designingdeb I did not measure arms width at all. I measured from arm pit hem to armpit hem where the sleeve would connect to the shirt area at armpit area. If you need any other measurements let me know and on what size.

designingdeb On the model the sleeves slide down loosely. On you, because you have a larger bust, the sleeves move more straight across. An XL with a small bust and skinny arms that’s tall may be able to wear the large. A normal medium with heavy arms may need a large. So that measurement will give critical fit info..maybe you sell more and have happier fits?!

designingdeb I’ve been on both sides..stick thin only needing a pity bra to 42D with heavier arms. I’m 5’10” so the length then becomes important as would sleeve length. Length measured from shoulder straps. It would fit the two types of body I’ve had very differently. But measurement around the arms tells me where the top of the sleeve lands. Then I can measure from there for sleeve and finally shoulder down for garment length.

trendsetterdiva They only make this item in size small through large if they made more sizes I would have purchased. I do have other items that are available in 1X through 3x also some item items come in small through X large. Again if you need a specific measurement let know what and on what size.

trendsetterdiva @maryblizana medium is now sold out. My items are usually always true to size if not I would have said runs small or view measurements. I would recommend sticking with the size you normally wear. I wear a 6 or 8 on bottoms and have a 36g bust. Depending on style I usually wear a medium or sometimes a large only because my bust is so large
