nacanina @kendylb7 I'm not exactly a style expert so maybe I'm wrong, but I tend to think of shift dresses as having less shape and being pretty straight. This dress is form fitting without being tight and clingy. So hopefully that makes sense. It may run a tad big. I bought the dress when I was an 8 because they didn't have any 8's left but it fit decent. But that also could be due to the stretch that it fit. But now I'm a 10 so it's too small and I never wore it.
