aviatortwin @edenisar Hi Elisabeth, the 14 is the XL, with Posh’s system, the only way this listing would be seen in the Plus Size category, is if size 14 was listed. Hopefully that makes sense.😉

aviatortwin @elaine1102 That’s a good question, not a dumb one....these are tough to measure. I’m not home right now, so not positive, but I’m pretty sure that the length is giving you the back length. The bust, I wouldn’t worry about because it’s open and airy. If you want to tell me your normal dress size, and your bra size, either here or in a private message, I can help you figure out the best size.😉

aviatortwin @barnes1105 Hi Deanna, on most people it sits mid booty on the back, but because everyone’s body is a little different, the best way to tell is by using the Length measurement. If you have a cardigan, or shirt that you like where it falls on your booty, you can measure the back length on that, and compare it with the measurements.

aviatortwin @barnes1105 You would want to measure from the middle of the back of the collar, all the way down to the hemline on the back. If you don’t have clothe measuring tape, you could use string, ribbon, or even dental floss, and measure that with a ruler, or measuring tape. Let me know if you need more help with that:)

aviatortwin @pretzelrswizzle Hi Itzel, it does not run true to standard sizing, but the sizing guidelines in the measurements chart is accurate. I believe a standard size Large is 12-14, if that is the size that you need, you would want to choose the XL. let me know if you need any more help figuring that out:)

aviatortwin @angel81402 Hi Brandy, unfortunately I think it may be too snug due to the shoulder measurements. This is the measurement taken directly across the top of the vest on the back, from the top of the shoulder on each side. I think you would need a couple more inches there. I am always on the look out for cute plus size, and they actually added the XXL & XXXL this year, so fingers crossed, next year they add more sizes. If I find anything, I would be happy to message you:)

souxyie I may just be having late night mom brain but I’m struggling to figure out size. I’d prefer the more free flow as seen in the pics. Could you make a recommendation based on my stats? I am 5”2, 201 lbs but I carry the majority of my weight in my belly. 😓 I wear normally 16 or 18 dresses, I took some measurements but struggled doing it alone. Waist is 42, bust is 43...normally Large or XL shirts. Sorry so long winded. Just worried I’d get it and be super big or super small. Thanks in advance!!!

aviatortwin @souxyie Hi Ashley, I think you will be happiest with the 3XL. Don’t pay attention to the tag size, these just run a bit small. Because this is open in the front, the only area you need to be concerned about is the shoulder, but from what you said your stats are, I think the 3XL will work well for you:)

souxyie @aviatortwin would it be easier for to measure my shoulders? If so is it just outside edge across past neck and to the other outside edge? If so I’m approx 19 inches give or take a smidge since I’m measuring myself 🤦‍♀️

aviatortwin @souxyie The vest is only measuring the smaller area across the shoulders, not factoring in a standard shoulder width. A standard shoulder width goes all the way across the back of the shoulder from the edge of each or your shoulders. This vest measurement appears smaller because your arms are exposed when wearing it. Give me a minute and I’ll pull it out and see if I can give you a more accurate standard measurement;-)

aviatortwin @souxyie Ok, my best guess with the vest, a standard shoulder measurement for the 3XL is 19.5”. I think a better way for you to tell would be for you to lay one of your t-shirts that fits comfortably down flat, with the back of the shirt facing you. Measure across the back from the armpit to armpit. The measurement of the vest taken in that same spot is 22“.

aviatortwin @souxyie The reason this matters, often with an open vest/cardigan, even if the bust measurement looks fine, the room in the back or shoulders is what may feel tight. If you are under 22 “, you should be ok. I’m happy to take more measurements though if needed:)
