Vintage — for the collector. Made by New Haven Clock Co., New Haven, CT. I don’t know the year made. Not working, in fair condition. Brass and wood, the finish is dimpled. Wind-up, 8-day early 1900s petite mantle clock. My mother purchased it at a flea market in Manchester, New Hampshire during a summer trip. It was 1966 and it was considered almost antique back then. I was 9. The dimpling is unattractive but could be refinished. I’m not going to try and change it since it’s so old. I’ll let you do that. I found a postcard I wrote to my best friend whilst on the trip, coincidentally we just happened t/b at Howard Johnson’s in New Haven! I’ll try to post a pic you can have it too. I never sent it didn’t know her address just learning cursive writing. Postage 5 cents, cute part of history. 📬 It’s got weight which means the inside is solid metal. Sorry, no keys. Please note that photos are part of the description. Qs just ask! Reasonable offers considered.

whimsicalbeast @annagarde yeah- very unusual! Love the design of it. I could see that working in so many homes of today- just because it’s all about form and design. How lovely!

annagarde @whimsicalbeast True! You got me thinking 🤔 ... I need to put it somewhere and take a photo where it shows it’s size and wee profile. It would look good on a bookshelf in a woman’s office, and give it some “yesterday” vibe. It’s kind of weighty to be so little. Made well!

annagarde @whimsicalbeast Close-ups are good to get details, but you need a way to get perspective. Kind of like your frames, it’s hard to visualize unless they are next to something you already are familiar with. Like coffee cup, or laptop etc. I’m actually thinking out loud...ideas hit me late 🤓🕰

annagarde @missvintageswag It’s so old I haven’t even attempted to wind it or anything I’m afraid I’ll break something. It’s quite weighty so I know it’s made well. It’s just very old.
