@jordypocket They appear the same to me. Longest point in both Gizeh & 2 strap (in a 37) is approx 10”. And sorry, there’s no room to negotiate on these. Plus would not be fair to sell these less than everyone else has paid. Hope you decide to go for em! They’re great! And not sure how many more if any 37s I’ll have after these 2 go.

@tjuneh1215 Hi! Think those are addressed in description but be happy to reiterate it: The Upper is what Birkenstock calls “Birko-Flor”. It is not leather. It’s a skin friendly synthetic which they claim is even better- has lining underneath. It is the “narrower” fit. Which, if your familiar with Birk’s, is not so narrow. Let me know if that helps!

But all these Papillio styles seem to have consistent sole measurements. Did u buy Birk Papillio or regular Birk style?

@erin_revan Hi! Birkenstock’s officially size charts call a 40 equal to a 9 — 9.5. I have them listed slightly different in description in terms of selecting a 9 for a 39, because in my experience, because I do not think their size charts are very accurate. Have you worn/had Birkenstock’s before?

I will say, IMO, these Papillio run slightly large. If it were me, I’d go with 39. But obviously I can’t guarantee that will work for you. Sorry, not sure any of that helps.

@tanquibro I will tag you on the listings I have in a 39. I only have 1 in copper/gold in a 39–that’s the only other color platform. The others are not platform. I have oiled leather & the metallic stones. The metallic stones is the softest footbed. Platform models don’t have the softest footbed but the copper probably a little more so than these.

@tanquibro I can get you whatever you want. May not be as well priced as some of these but I can check to see what my distributor has & pricing. There is no brown platform softbed though. In brown, only regular bed leather or birko-flor —leather is obviously more expensive.

@genstar22 Birk sizing is a bit tricky. They call a 38 a 7-7.5. But don’t think I know anyone that wears a US 7 and a 38 in Birks. You ultimately need to tell me but if you want my opinion only—think a 38 would work.

@morgansootd From much experience, I don’t trust the Birk size chart at all. I use to include it in the listings, but think it confuses people more than helps. Think the best measure is to know your Birk size or if someone tells me their normal sandal size I can usually tell them which size unless they’re right on the cusp.
