jerseyglam @malibukitty Hi! I believe most of our customer have stuck to their regular size and I haven't had anyone say the run small. From the manufacturer: the small bust is approx. 46.4", the medium approx. 48" and the large approx. 50". Although it sits open so there's not much of a bust restriction unless you have it tied shut. I wouldn't say the medium is huge. There's not a huge size difference between them - if you did size up I don't think it would be too big.

katiexroo @jerseyglam I’m 5ft 5 so I have no idea if a M will fit. Measuring at armpit to 49 inches goes all the way to the floor. 49 inches to my shoulder is fine, so idk how you measured it
