In this case I would hope this would run a little smaller, I wouldn’t be getting it for myself, I would be getting it for my absolute precious doll baby of a mother that’s 82 years old that has recently developed early stages of dementia and now lives with me. She always dressed very up-to-date and I certainly keep that going, she’d love this. She is 4‘ 10” & 80 lbs. of preciousness

I wouldn't say this item would be tight on her or very small. It will just be a nice fit. It is made to feel comfortable when wearing. It's that teddy bear feel.
