To prevent this keep harsh chemicals like hair spray, perfume, chlorine, etc. off of your ring by getting ready prior to putting your ring. It should be the last thing you put on in the morning and the first thing you take off in the evening and occasionally clean it with a soft cloth or a cleaning cloth. 😉❤️❤️❤️
