Why do you think you didn’t wear them more? I am only concerned about the circumference. Where they will hit, top will be fine. Is the circumference generous at all 1.5-2” from the top. I play tennis :)

@teresajackso405 Hi - I have a VERY high arch, had foot surgery a year ago and found these to be a little too tight across my arch. They have one elastic vent at the top of the calf, will post pic, and are 100% leather.
